I do not like my coats tight, but loose, so I can layer clothing underneath. I am 5'3 1/1/" and on the subby size, so I got a 2x...it is very comfortable (to me) and it is light weight, yet warm. Planning to purchase another one.

Great Coat
I live in the Northwest and this is perfect for our coldest weather (Never gets to 0 degrees here) so keep that in mind. Keeps me snuggly warm. The red is lovely. Great buy! Fit is spot on with room to move!

Wonderful parka - great value!
I got the beautiful pink orchid color. I love the material and the coat is really warm - hurrah! It's also a good length, just covers the derriere. Pockets and hood are super. I find the belt a bother so I don't even use it, I suppose I might if I wore it some place more fashionable (than dog walking!). I don't think the faux fur on the hood is great quality - I actually brushed it and that helped alot! My only negative is I have alot of difficulty with the zipper - getting it zipped and unzipped. I've figured out how to hold the end (bottom) of the coat at a certain angle for each function and it generally works without problem, but it's a little annoying. Other than that, for the money it's a fantastic buy.

Could have been a great coat!
Very cute style, soft and warm pockets and cuffs, flattering belt. But... much shorter than I thought it was from the picture, I am only 5'3 and it doesn't cover much of my thighs, or my rear end when I sit down, which makes for cold legs and car seats! It does leak feathers, enough to be noticeable coming out of the quilted pattern seams, which makes it look cheaply made. Not as warm as I would have expected, either. The belt adds a nice shape, but that buckle is completely unnecessary. I had my husband use bolt cutters and remove it completely so I can just tie the belt. Not up to usual LE standards. Product testing by real consumers would have been helpful.

Poor quality
I have had this parka about a month now. It does look like I have had it for years, it has faded, the fill is keep coming out. And I haven't cleaned it yet. Can't imagine what's gonna happen if I will do clean it. Very disappointed in the LE's quality

Love this coat!
I love the color of the coat I purchased the teal coat. It is very warm and I love the polar fleece around the collar and wrists. However similar to what others have written the belt is too long so I wear the coat without the belt it looks great. Once again I am very happy with my Lands End purchase. Thank you Lands End for your great products!

love - with one caveat
love the colour, the fit, the style - I don't look like a big puff, the 2-way zipper. Have worn twice and a bit concerned about the feather leakage. Will wear a few more times, but may need to return if the feathers continue to leak out. Will update

Stylish, Warm, and the Belt makes the best Silhouette!
I was soooo happy when I received this item!! I bought the vibrant red and the color just pops, esp against all black which is what I mostly wear during the colder months. What I most love about this parka is that the belt is long enough to cinch and make a bow. I flare out the bottem hem after cinching and making a bow and the result is the prettiest, feminine, and super chic bell-shaped silhouette! Very pretty with skinny jeans, leggings, and even looks fabulous with a skirt and opaque black tights finished with high heeled boots/booties. The best? So super warm without the bulk of a down puffer. I'm so glad I bought the color I wanted b/c it looks like most of the color choices are sold out. THANK YOU LANDSEND!

Sending it back
I love the looks of this jacket, and it's warm, but it's not as big as I expected....I like my coats to feel loose over a sweater. This one doesn't. But the worst part of it is that it leaks feathers terribly. My brand new car was a mess with the seat just coated with feathers. I had to vacuum it twice to get them off the velour seat. I'm taking it back to the local Sears store. I don't need this coat that badly.

Happy Me!
I was bold ordering rich red and this type of coat, because it's not my style. the coat arrived, i opened the package and could tell right away that it was quality: the fabric, the weight, and the feel. And this old gal looks great in it! I wear an xs. I am a pear with thin waist and larger hips. The is coat loose enough, but fitted. I can't wait to wear it, once the rains stop. In the meantime, i will continue to wear my yellow LE squall jacket - my go-to jacket this year!
