So warm and stylish, you'll be wishing for a snowstorm! Our Diamond Down Parka is highly functional and packed with 600 fill power down — one of our best. Since higher fill power provides better insulation, we can use less of it to eliminate excess bulk — and create a more comfortable and flattering fit. This parka's length also helps take the edge off winter's deep freeze. The polyester shell has a DriOff™ finish so snow and water bead up, roll off. Other weather stoppers include cuff tabs with adjustable snaps and hidden fleece cuffs. The distinct diamond quilt design is slightly shaped and the faux fur trim feels as soft as it looks. Parka is equipped with fleece-lined pockets with a compartment for a handwarmer packet. Machine wash (remove trim and dry clean separately). Imported.

Warm coat but light weight! Love this coat! Fits like a glove but isn't constrictive. I don't dread going out in really cold weather anymore. Feels like you have a light jacket on but really warm and cozy. Love the feel of the fabric, like the coziness of the fleece around the inside of the collar and sleeves. I ordered the Deep Amethyst and really love the color. So glad I gave this a try and would definitely recommend to friends. April 2, 2012
Nice roomy fit. Nice roomy fit and will be comfortable to wear while driving. April 27, 2013
Very warm and soft! This jacket fits perfectly, it is very soft in the inside and keeps you very warm. The hood is very cute and I never take it off. I find that it is easier to wear the jacket without the belt, but it is fashionable with the belt on. April 14, 2013
very warm Coat does fit a little bigger than size but not big enough to go up a size. Very warm and cozy coat. Belt really makes the coat show that you can wear a down coat and sitll have a shape April 13, 2013
GREAT NEW COLOR I ORDERED UP ONE SIZE BECAUSE I LIKE TO LAYER UNDERNEATH AND I DO NOT LIKE MY COATS FITTING SNUG OR TIGHT.. April 13, 2013
This coat is the toastiest of all coats! I really do like this coat. The fit is good and it is very warm, even in a blizzard it will keep you toasty warm! I do have a hint about the feathers that appear to be moulting and that is to just put the coat into the dryer for a few minutes. That will usually take care of this problem. Also don't forget to take off the faux fur trim before you wash and dry this coat. I've learned the hard way that the fur trim will just shrivel and fuzz up if it goes into the dryer. It's not very attractive now, but I still love the coat. Faux fur trim or not! April 11, 2013
Loved it and will purchase another. I am a tall-plus size and although the sleeves were just a bit short, the cuff insert kept the wind out and that was a good thing. The jacket is unbelievably light, but I was toasty warm all winter and barely wore a sweater all winter. It fits very true to size without all of the bulk and puffing that you associate with a down jacket. The belt needs a lining because it is so thin. I may end up cutting it down. Someone wrote that it clanks, and that is a fact. April 4, 2013
An excellent choice for this plus-sized gal this *Canadian* Winter 2013... I just have to "rave" about Lands End in general, and this coat in particular! The Weather Network and Farmers Almanac both predicted a much colder Winter and more snow than we have seen in the recent past for those of us here in Ontario, Canada, and boy, were they right about that on both accounts!! With the windchill, the temperatures got down to -15 degrees, and the winds were brisk... it was the kind of weather where snow crunches under your feet when you walk, and you need a great coat that covers you properly, and one that does not let the "wind" seep into or up your sleeves... the detachable hood was a bonus, and made sure that my "hair" stayed in place... no hat or the accompanying static hair was needed once I got myself to my parked car! The fleece lined neck and sleeves, made sure that my body heat stayed in the coat with me, and the quilted design ensured that I did not look like a huge mass wrapped in a down duvet or comforter! Excellent styling... a job really well done! The belt is nice and long, and can be wrapped around as many times as a gal wishes... the buckle is substantial and I like that it has notches... AND the best part... YOU can choose to wear the coat with or without the belt... either way looks fine. I am on a personal weight-loss journey this year, and like that the coat has taken me right through the Winter... no alterations needed. I am going to put it on today for HOPEFULLY the last time this season... warmer Spring weather has just gotta come our way eventually! We have been having sneak peaks of Spring since about St. Patrick`s Day, so it will be here before we know it! Finally, the washing- and care instructions are easy to follow... this coat washes and fluffs up in the dryer nicely... then, it is ready to go for next time! An A+ excellent experience, and I *LOVE* that I could read all of the great reviews here first BEFORE deciding upon a coat for myself! April 1, 2013
Love the color; runs a little small. How about a belt buckle that's not a weapon? I really like the color of this coat and it's as warm as advertised. I'm thinking of replacing the belt buckle because that thing is like a boat anchor. I've bruised my knuckles and gouged furniture on it. It's a menace. March 24, 2013
I love this coat I have hot flashes and this is the perfect coat. I can wear it with a short sleeved t underneath and be warm outside, then take it off and be comfortable inside. I have not had any shedding problem with it and I've had it 2 months, so not sure why some shed and some don't seem to. Mine is red. I also don't usually wear the hood, so I don't have any comment about it. March 11, 2013
