  • HydroCotton makes it soft and fluffy — without feeling heavy
  • Generous wrap secures with a self-fabric belt
  • Handy patch pockets and locker loop

How’s this for exotic? The cotton (called HydroCotton®) gets its start in the Denizli region of Turkey. Its ultra long staples are spun into low-twist yarns that are super lofty, yet light. Terrific I have this robe in the dark pink color. It's fantastically soft and cozy, plus the color makes me happy. I had no idea Lands End made robes like this! It does run rather large, so I recommend sizing down. March 8, 2013
Real Terry Cotton Not Fleece I was on a quest to find a bathrobe that was NOT fleece and this bathrobe is perfect -- like wrapping yourself in a large, absorbent terry-cloth cotton towel, heaven! The cotton is nice and thick and it washes well, is durable. I also purchased one for my sister as a gift and she loves, loves it to ward off upstate NY chills. I am 5' and normally order in the Small-Medium range, however, since it is an oversized robe I ordered the XS/S Petite, length falls just below my knees and it is roomy without being oversized. I searched multiple vendors and the price and quality of LE cannot be beat! February 10, 2013
great cotton terry robe i bought mine at least a year ago - when LE was making them in full length. i didn't have many choices of colors but i was just happy to have finally found a robe that wasn't fleece or lightweight cotton. unfortunately LE have discontinued making them in full length. mine is full of loose loops of cotton - but it still wins over the alternative. it's not the most attractive robe i own but it is the warmest and i'd love a new one in a darker color. it would make a wonderful fall/winter gift for someone you care about. remember how they use to make them in a velour on the outside and cotton terry on the inside?? that would it absolutely perfect! i'm in LURRRRRRVE!!! first of all, i purchased this robe online around january 4th 2012, and at that time there were a ton of reviews - all overwhelmingly positive (average overall rating was 4+ out of 5). when i came back today, as week later, all of the reviews were gone! so i definitely wanted to write a review so that anyone trying to makde a decision will know that they SHOULD NOT hesitate to order this robe. if you do, and it's gone when you change your mind, you will be sorry. plus, as of this review it's on wicked sale! i had a robe for about 7 years that i really liked (from a different retailer). but just recently i realized how ratty it had become. that led to a literal treasure hunt for the perfect robe. i tried many that claimed to be this and that...but either they were too thin, cheap-feeling, riddled with loose threads, or quickly left me covered in fibers. as i was about to give up, i discovered lands end robes in a google search. after reading the tons of positive reviews, i had to give this one a shot (i'm 5'8"/130lbs and the small fit perfectly). as my review title says, i'm not just in love, but in LURRRRRRVE with this robe! it's everything i wanted - the color is rich (i got red), the weight is cozy and warm, and the lengh is perfect. in my eyes, nothing beats terrycloth for bathrobes. land's end, you definitely wrote the book on how to do a bathrobe right! the only suggestion i'd have (which was in some of the other reviews) is to NOT sew the sleeve cuffs, so that people can roll them up or down to their liking. if my arms were even a half inch longer, the sewn cuff would be a problem.
