Description

A smooth-fitting treat for feet.

  • Toe seams are linked by hand, for a smoother finish
  • Rib-knit cuffs
  • Socks come up to the upper calf
  • Sold in 2-packs
  • S/M fits shoe size 6-9, L/XL fits shoe size 10-13

The best part of Lands' End socks? Hand-linked toe seams. Hand linking creates a smoother seam, so you'll never get that "pebble in your shoe" feeling.

The other great thing is our fabric blend - a healthy dose of cotton for breathability, plus a measure of polyester. Polyester, good? In socks, yes. Because it doesn't absorb moisture, polyester won't "swell up" in your shoes like cotton - and it's the swelling of fibers that can cause blisters (because your shoes fit tighter). The polyester also helps to keep the socks from fading in the wash and adds a bit of durability. Overall, a very good thing. See for yourself! 66% cotton/32% polyester/2% spandex. Machine wash. Imported.

Great material and 'hand' The L-XL would not stretch beyond my ankles. A disappointment. If you have VERY skinny legs, they would be fine. Sold them to a much smaller friend. December 22, 2012
Nice & they stay put They fit nicely, have smooth toe, and they stay up all day, no more yanking them up December 22, 2012
not as soft as I hoped they would be They do stay up and are comfortable....but they just aren't very soft. November 24, 2012
Perfect Trouser Socks The perfect thickness, great for work. Breathable and comfortable, really happy I stocked up. November 24, 2012
Tight and too warm I love LE but can't seem to find good socks here. My calves measure 14.5 - is that big? I'm not overweight, so I don't see how others can be raving about the fit. The socks do stay up and are 16 " from floor to top, so that's a plus. But I don't find the blend to be breathable - all in all, disappointing. November 9, 2012
I love my socks! The trouser socks are great! I wish they came in gray and brown! I would buy them immediately! October 28, 2012
Talk about your tall socks... Wow, what a fit! Last year I purchased some brown knee socks. They were a little short. It didn't matter though because they were hidden under my trousers. But this year these navy pairs are the tops. They are not too tight, stretch easily and do not shrink in the wash. My wide feet appreciate that. They also stay put when my legs swell by the end of the day. Any size leg can wear these! October 27, 2012
They got shorter! I bought these socks last year and loved them. The ones I just bought are at least 2 inches shorter than last year's, and do not reach my knees (I'm only 5'3"). They end mid-calf, and the band at the top is uncomfortably tight. Too bad! I'm returning them. October 13, 2012
Great Quality As with everything I've purchased from Lands End, the quality is great on these. The fabric is soft, not too tight to squeeze and not too loose to fall down! Although it seems like a simple item, knee socks are difficult to find...at least in the stores I've visited in my town. I prefer having knee socks when wearing slacks, they just make me feel more dressed/covered. Plus, having socks hit right below my knee is more comfy to me than the anklet socks. October 4, 2012
