Four years and finally replacing
I've had this fleece for about four years. I wear it every single day with dogs, cats, kids and an active lifestyle in Seattle. My *only* complaint is that the fleece has worn through on the sleeve cuffs and a spot on the zipper. (Well, and the pet hair layer it usually has on it...) It is still warm and pretty windproof. By far the best money I've spent on a fleece jacket, and I've bought more than a few! The worn spots are finally bad enough that I'm going to use it only for "play" and buy a new one for daily use.

Nice jacket
This is a great jacket. It's a little nicer than just a fleece and has a great fit. It's not bulky and has nice coverage.

Love the color!
The jacket fits true to size. I absolutely love the color!

not recommended
I ordered this for my daughter for Christmas but took it back to Sears before she even got to see it. I ordered the medium, it was cut too big, was not flattering on and the weird sewn-in flap at the top of the zipper was not going to fly. The only way she would have even considered wearing this jacket was if it stayed zipped all the way up to the neck. That being said I'm sure it would have kept her warm and dry but the cons were too many. Sorry, I wanted to like this jacket.

Quality is poor compared to previous Marinacs
I was disappointed with this Marinac, the fabric felt cheap, the shape is not flattering like previous Marinacs and I missed the velcro-style/rubbery cuff cinchers. Sent it back.

Great for layering & warmth
I really love this jacket. It is warm on its own on a milder day, or I can layer it over a light layer and with a heavier coat for colder days. I also like that it protects a bit against dampness. I have worn it with casual clothes on the weekend but also to work. Very versatile. Would definitely order again.

Color good, sleeves a little long.
The guality is what I expect from Lands End. The sleeves are a little long, but that does not bother me. The fabris is a little stiffer that what I am used to for polar fleece, but that could be due to the laminated membrane barrier, I noticed though the more I wear it the less stiff it is. I wear it as a casual mid weight coat. I wore it when it was about 35 degrees and was comfortable. Over all I am pleased with my purcahse.

LIght Weight and holds in body heat
I originally bought a medium as that is what I usually get . It fit with a turtleneck but too tight in the arms for more, like a sweatshirt. So I sent it back for a large. Fits good with turtleneck and sweatshirt. Cuts the wind good.

nice jacket
I agree with other previous reviewers, good jacket but not as nicely made as earlier design. This is my second Marinac jacket., ( first was about 2 years ago). The fit is not as good, due to a cheaper fleece liner which is a bit restrictive and does not slip on in a comfortable way. That being said, it is cut well and is warm for moderate weather and wind. I purchased the deep green color and like it very much.

This jacket is phenomonal!
I took this jacket on an 8 day backpacking trip. It was warm and cozy and I especially liked the longer tail in the back. I is truly meant to fit over a light layer, so if you are planning on using it over several layers, buy the next size up - I did and it worked perfectly over a Tee and a lightweight fleece jacket. Others on the trip wanted to know where I got it and were jealous that I had a fleece that was completely water and wind proof. I found the sleeves to be the perfect length even though the reviews said they were long. Also loved that it kept my neck warm when fully zipped.
