Pretty
These earrings are awesome...bigger than I thought they would be, also a little heavier, with very secure clasps. Love them. Just ordered them in silver too. So much costume jewelry I've purchased at department stores has been overpriced for the quality. Here the reverse is true. Can't believe these are only $19...they neither feel nor look it.
I'm writing this because I want to encourage LE to continue providing classy well-made costume jewelry at a great price and to encourage other customers to try it. Last year I got the set of three bangle bracelets (awesome) and I just ordered this year's hammered brass ones. I also love (and have reviewed) the disc necklace.

Very nice earrings
I have read concerns about the size and heft of these earrings. And while I agree that the size description is wrong (It should be 3 cm, not 3 mm), if you want to get a feel for the size, look at the picture of the model wearing them. I already had more modestly sized silver and gold hoop earrings and was looking for variation with a larger size. However I did not want over-the-top large. These were just right. And I like the weight of the earrings. I have bought other metal earrings on-line that were so light, I questioned whether or not they were perhaps plastic, not metal. Although I "feel" the earrings when I put them on, after a few minutes, I do not notice them and my ear lobes are not sore when I take them off.
In summary, both the silver and gold versions of these earring are really nice! The size is perfect for both casual and work wear.

Love These
These gold hoops are big, but not overly big, in my opinion. They measure about 1 1/8 inches in diameter from inside edge to inside edge and about 1 1/4 inches in diameter from outside edge to outside edge. I think they are the perfect size and the gold has a nice gleam to it. They clasp securely. I am happy with these.

wrong measurement
They're obvious not 3 mm in diameter. More like 3 cm, I suspect, which is over an inch in diameter.

huge and heavy!
These earrings are much larger in diameter, and much heavier, than I expected. I returned them. Suggestion to Lands' End: Please list the diameter of the actual earrings in your description, which is currently very deceiving. Thanks.

Heavy
These earrings are a very nice product but will not work for me, they are very heavy,I do not like that, they are to big,my fault I did not pay attention to the measurement, the reason I purchased them was the straight stainless steel post a terrific feature and one that would of worked if the earrings were smaller and not so heavy. I will pass these on as a gift.
