my favorite suit
I have this bathing suit in 3 colors and just love it. I bought it because it has underwires which are much more comfortable and supportive for the D cup size I wear. It makes me looks slimmer and is so very comfortable. I wear them for water aerobics class and never have to tug anything back in place. I'm not slim and trim....yet, I have the suits in size 16. People seem to comment in the back a lot, the cross cross straps are really attractive. These suites have held up really well to chlorine and are now 2 and 3 years old and still going strong,. I wish they would make this in some other patterns, I'd buy more. Great suit, highly recommend it.

love this suit!
Have two of these suits and love them.Did find on one that the lining rolled to the front on one side, and because it was a different colour than the suit, it showed(blue suit). Not a problem on the black suit(black lining). Easy to get on, no back fasteners for arthritic hands to deal with.

This is by far the best suit I have ever owned!
I think this is my sixth Carmela suit. This time I took advantage of the plus long option and I will order the long from now on.If you have a longer torso or fill out the suit with certain curvy body parts this should work for you.
I wish there were more colours and prints would be nice too!

LOVE THIS SUIT!! Never thought I'd find a 3D that actually fit at a reasonable price, but this one is perfect! Wish it came in more colors and how about some nice prints! Thanks Land's End!!

Best suit I ever tried on
Do not walk, do not run, sprint to try on this suit if you have any slight extra curves! I'm size 12 36D and have a terrible time finding swimsuits. While other suits let something hang out in an unflattering way, this one covers but slenderizes and makes one look fabulous, like a 1940s Hollywood gal. I love the detailed back too. Great suit! Try it!

Underwire fits weird, but overall good suit.
I would recommend this suit for its overall look and fit, but the underwire did not lift my chest, but smashed it down. If you're ok with that, you should get this suit. The best thing to compare it to would be a minimizer bra. The suit is well made and flattering all over the torso. I just didn't like the underwire. I am 5'7, and wear a size 20W and size 42DD bra.

slimming suit but leg openings are too large
The suit does what it says by slimming the waist area, however, the leg openings are too loose. If you have a tummy that's "dropped" a little I would NOT recommend this suit. It reveals too much at the leg openings. The suit will be returned.

Didn't flatter me
I tried this suit and returned it. Fit was true to size and did slenderize. But the cut was matronly and didn't flatter by body style. I purchased the Texture Squareneck One Piece Swimsuit instead.

Finally a perfect fit
I couldn't be happier. I finally found a swim suit that covers me and lifts and supports my DDD breasts and holds in my tummy. It's fashionable not frumpy and perfect for my water fitness classes.
