Very flattering, comfortable "heel" style
This is a very well-made, pretty & comfortable shoe. Yes, makes feet look dainty & provides decent arch support for those who don't love wearing heels. I've grown to love shboots, high heel slip-ons, and the newly designed Dansko Thea "heels" as a result. I am a smidge over a B width (right in the middle bet. a B & C), so I have to wear a shoe that is either just a little forgiving in the width or, if it runs narrow, I need a Wide. This shoe is very comfortable in that respect. I think anyone except someone with a very narrow foot would find it ok. I am a 7.5 in every other brand (sneakers and shoes) and this ran a little short for me, even though my foot slipped fully down into the toe box--so I am ordering the 8. I would say that I think I've had to order 8's at LE in the past. This style is great for those of us who would rather hide our toes/nails for whatever reason--plenty of us over the age of 40 with toe issues. Thanks for this design, LE. Now please think about giving us the same shoe in the flat or lower style in addition to this dressy one. It would be a cute little Mary Jane espadrille that would be even easier to wear all day long!!! Love this shoe with jeans, capris, skirts and sundresses, though.

Super cute, but toe box rubs my foot
I love the look of these, perfect for every outfit in summer and good for hiding my toes when they're not looking their best. I ordered black and just love them. However, the toe box is really stiff, and the edge of the toe box cuts into my foot terribly. Right now I'm working on wearing them with socks to stretch it out a bit. I am determined to break them in though, because they are so cute! I normally wear a 7.5 or 8, so I ordered both to try them on. The 8 fit much better.

I ordered my normal size and they were painfully tight. I want to take them into Sears and exchange for the next size

Beautiful and versitale shoe
While I'm a long time fan of LE, I'm fairly new to shoe purchases. My first purchase was a pair of espadrilles about 3 years ago, and I have not at all been disappointed. A nice closed toe espadrille or sandal is my idea of a transition shoe, and the LE ones have held up well thus far. This shoe is every bit as impressive as my first pair of espadrilles. They have a dressy but comfortable wedge that can be worn with ease through out a day of being on one's feet. I love the natural color as it pairs well with virtually anything, and the simple styling adds to their versatility. They seem to be relatively stain resistant as well. (I always wonder how long it will take lighter colored shoes to look worn and dirty.) I've worn these several times during rainy weather, and they seem to not stain easily. (My "good" rating was based in my uncertainty in this area.) My original pair are dark blue and have retained their color very well, so I have high hopes for this pair to hold up for many years to come.

Love love love!
I adore these shoes and found them to be true to size. I have them in Toasted Almond and they are a beautiful, neutral shoe that goes with everything summer-y. The only downside in the lighter colors is that they're prone to smudges and streaks, but with some preventive waterproofing you can probably avoid that. I used a babywipe to get some dirt off of mine and it worked great too. Love these - so stylish!

Great Shoe!
I have gotten more compliments wearing these shoes! Very comfortable. I can wear them all day at work and I walk very long distances during the day. With the tan color they do show dirt easily but I have been able to wash the dirt off. I may try applying Scotch Guard to them to see if that helps with the dirt.

toe is very stiff
I love this the style of this espadrille was very excited to order them. However, the toe part is very stiff and doesn't appear to stretch at all ( I tried). They were not comfortable after wearing them for a couple hours and they dug into the sides of my feet. I first ordered them in my usual size 6.5M but found them to be too narrow and painful. I then ordered the size 7 and while the fit is better in the toe part, they still dig into my feet when walking in them. For this reason, I do not recommend this shoe.

Perfect
As I am always looking for a closed toe summer sandal that's still stylish, this shoe fit the bill perfectly. I bought the two basics; black and linen, and they will be my go-to shoes for most of my dressier outfits this summer, both at work and on weekends. The quality of this shoe is very good in my opinion, and I really like that the ankle strap is leather and not fabric like on several other espadrilles I've had throughout the years. I would like to see Lands' End offer more closed in sandals in other pretty and current styles, because not everyone wants to show off their toes just because it is summer!

Great wedge espadrille
I bought these in navy and wore them very early on in Spring, when my feet were just out of socks and boots. Normally, it takes a few weeks for my feet to "toughen up" and feel comfortable bare in heeled sandals, but these were a dream to wear! Just the right amount of wedge for my small frame (5'2) and to wear for frequent walking.

REALLY CUTE STYLE AND COMFORTABLE
I wear a size 8 and these are true to size and fit perfectly! They are very comfortable and go with so many things in my wardrobe that it's difficult not to wear them everyday! I bought the black ones.
