This top is nice quality, and I love the back button detail. Unfortunately it fit a bit small, so I returned it and am waiting for a replacement one size up.

Fun Shirt!
Love, love, LOVE this shirt! I ordered up to a size M based on other reviews and I'm glad I did. This was the perfect shirt with a fun detail before my husband shrunk it in the wash! I'm SO bummed out, but thankfully bought it at the discounted price. I highly recommend hand washing or having it dry cleaned as recommended on the tag.

Not as Loose or Thick as Pictured
I thought the buttons down the back of this shirt were SO CUTE. Unfortunately, the fabric was very thin and clingy and the cut was small. I usually find LEC size small to be generous (and can often wear an XS) however this shirt was NOT flattering. It nearly pulled at the buttons on the BACK and showed my bra lines. I wanted to like it, and it was just terrible. After reading the other reviews, I can only IMAGINE what this shirt looked like after it shrunk in the wash! I returned it to my local Sears store.

way too small!
I am normally a size S, 5', 2" tall. This shirt is almost a crop top on me. It looks like a child size 6X. I have a feeling it may have been a return and washed previously--it is supposed to be hand washed or dry cleaned. Hoping LE gives me a credit!

Save your money...even at the sale price!
The photo of this shirt is very deceiving. It looks almost like a thin gauge/light sweater of sorts. Trust and believe me it is far from this. I loved the bottom detailing at the back, but this was nothing more than a tissue light t-shirt. It is certainly see-though as many other commenters have noted, and I can tell that it will surely shrink and unravel if not hand-washed and hung to dry. I would only recommend this shirt if they were giving it out for free with another purchase, I can't believe they even had it listed at $50 originally! WHAT?! First Land's End/Canvas product I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Right back to its maker it went!

DON'T WASH...unless you're going for the belly shirt look
I have tried this shirt 3 times, and all 3 times it has failed. I follow the washing instructions to a T, and everytime is shrinks in the length at least 4 inches. I really loved the look but was not a fan of the cropped style after a wash. I even tried order a larger size (I went from a xs to a s) and it didn't help at all. Right out of the bag the shirt fits great, but after a wash, its baby sized. I'm going to try it one last time and order the small, and try handwashing. Fingers crossed! However, if you want to try this shirt, order a size larger...I work for Lands End and always tell my customers that our stuff usually runs big but with this shirt, its the opposite (perhaps the wool)!

Please expand this line to Women's Plus sizes!
I like Land's End's classic sometimes preppy sportswear, but I really love the new trends I'm seeing in the Canvas line. It's the reliable Land's End I can depend on with a more trendy outlook that is younger - and I want to look younger even if I'm not! I hope it sells really well and Land's End realizes this is a niche that L.L. Bean, J.Crew, the Gap, and Tommy Hilfiger all have missed - Plus sized women want trendy preppy, comfortable classic sportswear too!

Absolutely adorable... but the quality is terrible.
Although the fabric was much thinner than it appeared on the website, I was still in love with this top...until I washed it according to the label and several holes appeared in the fabric - Very disappointing and unfortunate. However, I so love the style of the top that I am going to try to exchange it for the same one at my local LE store. I have been a fan of LE and LEC for years, but lately the quality of the products has left much to be desired....

sweater that would be becoming to every woman
I love, love, love this sweater. It is soft, comfortable, the style is very feminine and I can dress it up or down. I wear it mostly with jeans. The mistake I made was to throw it in the washer and dryer. Should have washed by hand.
