What a beauty! Forgive us for boasting, but looking at this new Bennett boot it’s really hard not to. Take the leather for example. It has a smooth, but not overly shiny surface for an understated, yet rich look. The inside is also nicely done, with a leather-covered sockliner to breathe away moisture and a leather heel counter to prevent slippage. Our Bennett is so well made we could go on and on, but you get the idea. Imported.

Versatile Shoes
I was a little leery about the fit due to the other reviews, but they fit perfectly and are excellent shoes! I've received several comments on them. They are versatile and can be worn for knocking around or to look a bit more stylish. Love them and seriously considering buying another pair.

Great Boots
I really like these boots and find them very comfortable. I normally take a size 9, but ordered these in a Size 9.5 based on earlier reviews. I was worried because my right foot tends to be a little wide, but there was no problem. They fit perfectly. The only reason I give these a 4 star insted of 5 is that the cocoa color is ashier than shown, and the zipper is on the outside of the boot rather than on the inside.

Beautiful, SO NARROW
This are such beautiful boots. I'm so excited about them, I want to wear them every day. But I am one of those people who has exceptionally narrow feet. Even I will have to stock up on extra thin socks to make it work. So far I've just worn them around the house, but they feel supportive and comfortable, no rubbing, and I love the zipper access. I bought a 7.5, which is my usual size, and they are a snug fit. Debating going up to an 8.

Nice looking, comfortable boot
These boots were comfortable from the first day I wore them. Love that I can lace them up - then never have to lace them again due to the easy on & off zippers. Great looking, too.

Beautiful leather, style and quality just too NARROW!!!
These boots are beautiful. I ordered the black ones. Unfoutunitely I had to return them due to the narrow fit. They were far too NARROW!!!. I read the comments about others loosening the laces and wearing them around the house so I took the chance and ordered them. I was too worried about getting a blister and then not able to return them after wearing them to stretch them out. The reviews were dead on.....just too narrow in the middle of the foot. The leather is very thick so I'm not sure if they would stretch. I have a NORMAL width foot and can wear ANY shoe. I have over 10 pairs of Lands End shoes and LOVE them all. Never a width problem - so these boots were just made too narrow by the factory. I LOVED these boots. They were exactly what I wanted. The style, quality and leather were all amazing. I was so disappointed to have to return them due to the width. They just needed to be 1/4" wider.

My daughter loves these so much I'm getting them for her in another color (plus a pair for myself!)
My college-age daughter saw a similar pair in a department store (Nordstrom's) but we couldn't quite stomach the price. When I saw these at LE I thought not only are they less expensive, but better-looking as well. My fashion-conscious daughter agreed. I had them sent to her at college and she raves about them. She's impressed with the high quality, especially since she walks miles every day around campus and around town.
When she visited for Thanksgiving, she wore them and they looked very chic with her skinny jeans, as well as being highly practical, comfortable and warm. Now she wants a pair and black, and I just ordered a pair for myself.
Nordstrom's doesn't even have a pair this good, at any price. Great job LE!

great value and comfort level
I ordered these in Cocoa Bean, and the color was the only negative about these boots; the color in the photo is NOT what they look like. The arrived a pale, sad-looking brown. But, as they are super comfortable and look great, kept them. I was unhappy about the color until I got the great idea from InSytle Magazine to dye them. For less than $8, I bought a rich, deep brown shoe leather dye and now they look just like the photo. One odd thing, though, is that the zipper is on the outside of the boot, not inside like all my other boots. Still, great buy!

They were stiff and unforgiving, styling was very Not what I expected from leather shoes.
so, I've sent them back. They only came out of the box to try on, then back to you.

I've never been so conflicted about shoes
I love the way these boots look, which is why I'm keeping these. If this review was just based on fit only, I would probably have returned them by now. When I first tried these on, I did agree with the earlier reviewers that they were stiff and narrow (I ordered 6.5, which is my regular size for shoes-with-socks). However, after, loosening the laces (which helped somewhat with the stiffness) and wearing them for a few days, I can feel that they are getting a bit softer. I really wish that the part of the shoe that covers the top of the feet (between the toes and the middle of my feet) was softer -- they are still stiff and make it harder to walk naturally because the foot wants to flex a little at that point. One other thing that should have been added to this shoe is a good tread -- I haven't had any problems on regular hallway floors at work, but I suspect they may be difficult on a slippery surface. I've only worn these twice, so I'm hoping they will soften over time. If not, I'm sure Lands End will be happy to honor their satisfaction guarantee!

Beautious Boot, Sturdy Elegance
First, these are absolutely gorgeous boots. Classic style, beautiful details. I especially like the fact that there is about 1/8" of suede peeking out around the edges of the leather in places. I'm not used to buying expensive, high quality shoes so maybe these things are not extraordinary for this level of quality, but I am just so thrilled with the luxury of these babies!
Since the widest part of the boot is not in the same place as the widest part of my foot (which is closer to the toes than average, I think) I ordered a half size up from my normal 6 1/2 and they fit just great, only with a little room in the toe. They are narrow, and the leather did seem stiff at first (it is, after all, brand new leather), but after wearing them for several hours the leather began to soften and I could tell that they will eventually conform to my foot quite well. The color is a touch darker than in the pictures, and they are not quite as shiny as the pictures show, although they do have a burnished look to them. And they do go "clomp clomp" when you walk, but not in a fussy way, just a good solid boot "clomp." They are surprisingly light weight, and super comfortable, especially once they start to stretch a little. As for the reviewer who found them to be uncomfortable and said they were unlined with an annoying seam, I'm not sure exactly what she meant. They are lined with very soft fabric and soft leather on the heel, the edges, and on the insole,
I think this is the beginning of a long and beautiful friendship!
