Wet shorts rubbed a raw place my inner thighs
I ordered these shorts a year ago, and when I first received them I was pleased although they do fit a bit large. I am 5'-11" and 155 lbs and typically wear a size 10. I ordered these in an 8 and they fit me although I think they are intended to be rather loose. They looked nice with my tankini top though, so I thought the total outfit would be great for a trip to the water park. After several hours of walking around in the wet shorts, though, I started noticing that my inner thighs in contact with the shorts were getting sore. By the end of the day I was raw and miserable (and walking very funny). There is a seam on the inner thigh that was just very abrasive to me when wet. For just going to the pool, these shorts are fine. But for anything that involves a lot of walking while wet, I don't recommend these. I don't have the rubbing problem when the shorts are dry, though, so I think for doing yard work or other dry activities they would be fine.

The legs are really big in these shorts
The swim shorts fit really big in the legs for me. They are way too baggy and look like men's swim trunks when worn, only shorter.

Covers well and swims well
I took measurements and ordered up a size as I like a looser fit. This was a bad idea on my part. These are designed with the intention that the woman wants to stay covered up in and out of the water. The back is elastic, which wasn't clear to me from the pictures, so they stretch plenty. I like that it's a looser fit but when I'm in the water it feels very baggy. I didn't realize that they were too big until they were wet, and I think that means I can't return them - that's the reason that keeps me from giving it five stars. The "bikini" part on the inside fits great. The shorts part is quite loose, which is probably why I should have order the size that matches my measurements. And I love the pockets! The back pocket has a Velcro closure and I can put my key in there while I do water aerobics and the key hasn't escaped.

Not good for water aerobics
I bought these swim shorts because I thought they would work well for water aerobics. Unfortunately the shorts filled with water and billowed uncomfortably. They look nice and are comfortable, but I wouldn't recommend them for water aerobics.

zipper and snap in front no good
The jeans-type opening in front (zipper +snap) makes the top stick out over the bump the opening creates, and that didn't look good. Otherwise, the shorts are cute, and with a bikini top this wouldn't be a problem.

Runs a bit large. I would like more elastic in the waistband, or a string to tighten it.
I love how it allows a tall person like myself to continue to wear a two piece suit at my age without displaying too much tummy or derriere, but not looking matronly. It does run a little large, particularly in the waist, so more elastic or a string to tighten it would be great.

A little matronly
I didn't love these shorts. I'm used to the littler board shorts and I wanted a bit more coverage in the rear, but this one went too far. I'm not a youngster, but these were too old looking for me and they fit on the large size. I'd order a size smaller than you think...

Not for me!
Was looking for the swim shorts that I picked up last summer, when I happened onto these So I figured why not give them a try. Well, the legs are too short , the waist too low (I am not into hip huggers), returned them the next day.
