Nice fabric and color, but they run very large and baggy.

great swim shorts
Great fit, really comfortable, true to size, and perfect length for swim shorts. My only suggestion - be sure to wash before wearing! I wore them in the ocean before washing and the inside seam on the leg gave me a terrible chaffing. Ouch!

The BEST for active vacations
I am very disappointed that it looks like they aren't making this product anymore... I have lost a bunch of weight and was looking forward to getting my smaller size shorts for an upcoming vacation....
I am confused by all of the bad reviews on these shorts. I LOVE these shorts. As someone that is modest, I love that the shorts give great coverage and look good enough to wear to a beach restaurant for lunch. I am very active on vacation, so not having to worry about a separate cover up is ideal. I can snorkel, relax on the beach, then go straight to lunch (or where ever we want to go). Fits great and very convenient. Dries quickly...no soggy bathing suits all day long and no struggling with wet bathing suits when going to the bathroom.

Wet shorts rubbed a raw place my inner thighs
I ordered these shorts a year ago, and when I first received them I was pleased although they do fit a bit large. I am 5'-11" and 155 lbs and typically wear a size 10. I ordered these in an 8 and they fit me although I think they are intended to be rather loose. They looked nice with my tankini top though, so I thought the total outfit would be great for a trip to the water park. After several hours of walking around in the wet shorts, though, I started noticing that my inner thighs in contact with the shorts were getting sore. By the end of the day I was raw and miserable (and walking very funny). There is a seam on the inner thigh that was just very abrasive to me when wet. For just going to the pool, these shorts are fine. But for anything that involves a lot of walking while wet, I don't recommend these. I don't have the rubbing problem when the shorts are dry, though, so I think for doing yard work or other dry activities they would be fine.

The legs are really big in these shorts
The swim shorts fit really big in the legs for me. They are way too baggy and look like men's swim trunks when worn, only shorter.

Covers well and swims well
I took measurements and ordered up a size as I like a looser fit. This was a bad idea on my part. These are designed with the intention that the woman wants to stay covered up in and out of the water. The back is elastic, which wasn't clear to me from the pictures, so they stretch plenty. I like that it's a looser fit but when I'm in the water it feels very baggy. I didn't realize that they were too big until they were wet, and I think that means I can't return them - that's the reason that keeps me from giving it five stars. The "bikini" part on the inside fits great. The shorts part is quite loose, which is probably why I should have order the size that matches my measurements. And I love the pockets! The back pocket has a Velcro closure and I can put my key in there while I do water aerobics and the key hasn't escaped.

Not good for water aerobics
I bought these swim shorts because I thought they would work well for water aerobics. Unfortunately the shorts filled with water and billowed uncomfortably. They look nice and are comfortable, but I wouldn't recommend them for water aerobics.
