This suit fills a niche.
I'm a huge LE swimsuit fan, and this is my first foray into one that has a skirt. I was VERY surprised at how heavy this suit is - it seems to weigh about 8X what my little tugless tank weighs - but it does wire me up (underwire cups) and hold my bulges in, so can't complain! ;) Usual great LE fit.

serious swim dress
This is the one I've been looking for! It's weighty and made for the full figured woman who wants to hide in a good looking suit. The bra cups are substantial and the look is flaterring. I get compliments and inquiries as to where I purchased it.

must return: fabulous quality, not so great fit
First, let me sayt 'm a 5'4" plus size (18W) pear-shaped middle aged woman looking for a flattering, modest swimsuit. This one didn't work for me but might just work for you. When i took it out of the box I immediately thought "boy, it's heavy!" and it is. In size 18DD, this suit actually weights 1.4 pounds. It's very well-constructed with a serious underwire bra & full swimsuit body (not just a flimsy "liner") underneath the skirt part. The adjustable straps are much wider than shown (nearly an inch wide) which give great support to chesty gals. My main issue is the fit. It's too loose through the waist (tho' the hips fit very well with great coverage) and wayyyy too long to flatter even this old body. I'd suggest going down a size AND you still might need to remove a good 3-4 inches off the skirt bottom...for a talented seamstress, this may be the swimsuit of your dreams!

Great suit
This suit fits well and is very flattering. I'm 5'2" and bought the petite; it fits much better than the regular fit I bought in another style. It has great support and minimizes the flaws I want to hide.

Poor fit
I was hoping for a swim dress like my previous purchase. The suit was not flattering at all, and the underwires made for very strange uncomfortable fit. I am short, 5'3", but never expected this suit to reach my knees. I have returned this suit. Please bring back last year's Grecian swim dress.

very slimming and swims well
This suit is very stylish and slimming. Looks like a sun dress. I spend alot of time outdoors doing yard work and in the pool so the swim dress is the perfect suit for my lifestyle. I am busty so ordered a D cup. It has a soft cup bra with an under wire. I found the under wire was very uncomfortable...digging into the skin under my arm....so I removed it easily without damaging the suit. Now it's comfortable w/ just the soft cup bra and still has enough support. I hesitated to buy the Beach Living line because they have fit small in past years. This suit fits true to size so I can tell it's been improved. I bought a similar one last year in the same size and it was so tight! I never returned it, but gave it to a friend that's a size smaller than me. She loves it too! I have been a big fan of Land's End swimsuits for many years. They last for several seasons and hold up very well to chlorine, salt water and sun....I had one last for 10 years! I have become an exclusive customer and no longer even look at dept. store suits.

love this one piece elegant swim dress
I ordered a size 10 based on reading others reviews. I normally wear a size 12 bottom and size 10 top. The size 10 fits perfect and it has received several compliments.
My only other observation as a 5 foot 4 inch height person it was slightly longer than how the picture depicted it and how my bathing suit skirt I ordered fits. That said it is lovely and I would definitely recommend this product.

Pros and Cons
The suit fits well and is comfortable in the water. Finding a modest swimdress with adjustable straps is delightful. Unfortunately, the semi-attched bra lining is cumberson to put on. In addition, the fabric takes a very long time to dry - sometimes longer than overnight!
