Nice swim short-- comfortable, serves its purpose. I can easily mix and match with several tankini tops.

I have other shorts that are more "short" material rather than bathing suit material. Could be better.
Fit is appropriate but the material is lacking. Could be more cotton-type fabric that is still swim suit material like men's suits. THEN have tummy control. It would be a nice short then.

Swim Shorts with Tummy Control
Really like this item, just wish I had bought it one size smaller. Worn it on vacation and will use it at home as well seeing we have a pool. The quality is very good, just seems to be a little bigger than my usual size I wear.

Great sports bottom
I bought these with a tankini top for stand-up paddle boarding and they are just perfect. Not too long, not binding, excellent.

Does not give you Muffin Top! Yea!
Great shorts! I'll be wearing them at the lake each weekend to play with my son on the beach. I'm definitely buying more.
My problem with tankinis has always been the dreaded muffin top from the bikini bottom portion of the tankini. These shorts are fabulous. They fit wonderfully at the waist. There's a wide, stretchy waistband kind of like you find on good yoga pants. The shorts themselves come 3 inches or so down my thighs and they're not so tight that they look like bike shorts. There's a proper sized gap between the short legs and my legs.
For reference, I am apple shaped. I am thick waisted with a flat behind and comparatively thin legs.

Not a good choice for larger bottomed women.
I am a size 10 but have a larger bottom so I chose these shorts for coverup and control top. I love the way these shorts fit and cover but the elastic on the inner panties are WAY too tight. They cut into my legs, revealing unsightly lines and was not comfortable at all but I loved the way they covered up. I decided to keep them and have an alteration shop take out the elastic and resew in something a lot more comfortable. For the life of me I cannot understand why they would put in that kind of elastic in the legs. It was like a very thick rubberband.
