coordinates really well with non-Lands End swimwear, too!
After looking at swim skirts in a lot of other stores and finding they were all either: a) cheaply made, or b) much, much too skimpy to even be called a skirt, I came back to Lands End and I ordered 4 different styles and colors because I was trying to coordinate a top from another store (navy and coral). I ended up keeping the basic mini swim mini because the coral color was as close to perfect as you could get and I loved the fit. The size 6 (my normal LE size) fit very well, slim around the hips but not so tight that it was riding up and it was long enough to cover whole bottom yet not have too much fabric (and getting in the way). I LOVE the waistband because it's wide and very comfortable -- not tight or cutting into your waist. In the water the skirt fabric does float up a little, but I think the bottoms underneath the skirt are really nice. They stay in place and have comfortable leg openings.

Perfect Fit
I love my swim mini and that Lands End offers it in a petite size. It's hard to find a swim skirt that isn't too long. This one is short and cute and looks great.

Just the right coverage
I appreciate the extra coverage this provides, without being too long. It's the perfect addition to my "mom-suit" so I feel comfortable bending over and helping my 3 little kids at the beach!

Not For Me
While very cute these were just not the bottoms for me this year. I needed something more forgiving. I found that the bands (waist and legs) were a bit restrictive and the bottoms did not wear well. I went to Sears and tried on what was available to gauge my size (these were not available). I took advantage of the free shipping @ 40% off to try on and select what I liked best. It may have benefitted me to go up in size but I liked another bottom more. I went with the Women's Beach Living Flounce Mini SwimMini and they were the same size.

Multipurpose
My hips are 39" and I ordered a size 10, even though the sizing chart recommended an 8. I plan to wear these bottoms throughout the summer while I'm 4 to 8 months pregnant and at the beach/camping. Even under "normal" circumstances, I think I'd still prefer a size 10 -- they're snug enough to stay up, but not so tight that they pinch my softer midsection after baby #1. The skirt is a great length and is cute. I'm excited to play all summer in it!

Still cute...
This skirt is just right! Not so long it is grandmaish. I'm 5'1" and I got the petite.

Perfect
This gives just the right amount of extra coverage without looking like a "grandma" suit. It fits beautifully thanks to the flat, wide waistband - no muffin top.

Excellent quality
As always, I'm very happy with the quality of the Land's End swimwear. I like the mini swim mini better that the regular swim mini (that one is really too long for my tastes).

Perfect Fit
I love this mini Swim-mini! Others have complained about the suit being too low waisted, but I have to disagree. It fits exactly as shown in the picture. If you are not comfortable showing this much abdomen, then this suit is not for you! Thank you Lands End for giving such a wide range of suits for people of different builds and comfort levels!
