Too tight in the legs
I am open to the idea that maybe this swim mini is too small for me except that it fits everywhere except in the legs. It really cuts in and I'm going to return it and get the regular fit instead.
Nice colour and length - I'm 5"10 and a size 18 and the style is flattering - just not very comfortable. I'm saying I would recommend it to others because it's a nice piece, it just might not fit everyone!

Finally I got a perfect fit
Being a size 2 petite and only 5 feet tall it's HARD to find true petite sizes. Well, I am so thrilled with my Swim mini. It's a perfect fit. Color is exact and I'd recommend this swim mini to everyone! I was also amazed how fast it was shipped to me,too! Lands End is now my favorite store to shop at!

"Tummy Control" means exactly that!!! This is a Wonderful PERFECT fit...if you measure yourself correctly!!!
First of all, we woman have a hard time accepting our body measurements. If you are able to let go of "sizing numbers" & realize your God-intended shape, then you will find the right fit! Measure & then remeasure yourself again! Ask a friend to help, this is the hardest part of buying/ordering swimwear. Get over the number & buy the correct size for the larger parts. Namely, hips or bust depending on the swim piece your buying. I am 5"8, 199 lbs., large busted & average hipped--those are my proportions. I bought the size 14...PERFECT fit!! This skirt is "tummy control", which leads to a tighter fit for the cinching "panty" to work correctly and its the actual design of the skirt. If you measure your waist correctly (which does sit higher than where the suit fits), then the drape of the skirt should be aligned properly & cover most upper "thigh" issues. I would also add that when the suit is wet, it offers greater insurance cinching rather than dragging down from lack of "tummy control". I like to swim & in a wavy ocean, I want the confidence that my suit will not fall off in the water. The length is perfect for any 40+ year old & you will not feel as conscience revealing too much from behind. I love my silhouette in this skirt....front, sideways & behind!!

I should have read the reviews for the solid swim mini!
I always buy swim wear from Lands End and normally I am happy with my purchase. This swim mini does not fit property. The control panty is way too small compared to the size. I have purchased other swim mini's in the past with the control feature and was very pleased. This swim mini is very tight and gives me a bumpy appearance. Not at all what I was expecting in control item. I should have read the reviews for the solid swim control mini - which is the same product just in solid colors instead of the dot pattern. After reading I see other reviewers have the exact same feedback that the control panty is too small. Unfortunately, I will have to send this back.
