LOVE THIS BOTTOM/GREAT FIT Love this swimsuit bottom! The wide band is very comfortable and makes my tankini top smooth and flattering. I always read the reviews before deciding on an item. I am an 8 in everything but swimwear where I usually size up to a 10. I ordered an 8 in this item based on the reviews and it fits great. Several reviews noted tight leg holes, but these fit perfectly and aren't the least bit restricting. I'm going on line now to buy another color while everything is still 30% off! Thanks LE for a great quality product. May 19, 2013
Full coverage It is so refreshing to get a bathing suit bottom that has full coverage like this one. And yet, I think it looks really good, too. I normally wear a 6 or 8 in bottoms and got an 8 which fits perfectly. This will be a goto bottom to wear with all my swimsuit tops. May 13, 2013
Great color, but tight top band. The suit is lovely except for the added band on the top which makes it tight and very uncomfortable and makes the great "bulge" appear above! The band is SO visible! May 12, 2013
Perfect fit Love this swim bottom. Just the right amount of coverage, comfortable and doesn't ride up. My next swimsuit will definitely come from Lands End May 11, 2013
Go to for all my tops. Substantial fabric and enough stretch to keep it comfy for a day at the beach. Washes well, holds its color. Nice to know I can depend on Lands End for style and comfort. May 11, 2013
Oh, The Horror! To say the leg openings were constricting would be an understatement. You might as well just tie a couple of turnicuts around the tops of your legs...they might be more flattering. May 3, 2013
Wish LE would make a bottom that covers the navel...many of us older women want that covered. Why is this listed as "high rise"? Product is fine except it needs to cover more. LE made a version last year that came way too high (almost under the bust) I just want a regular bottom that covers everything that underpants would. I like to wear a bathing suit all day while on vacation at the beach and need one that has the ease of removal when it is necessary to use the bathroom but covers my stomach (including my navel). Almost ideal Landsend continues to have great swim bottoms for women, and I appreciate it. The only issue I have is the excessive puckering of the material around the edges. It can even be seen if you zoom into the shot of the model from the back. I thought the design was "runched," but it doesn't appear to be deliberate. When wearing it, it is a bit bothersome, because it unnecessarily draws the eye to the area. I hope L.E. can smooth this out in future designs. April 22, 2013
Best bottom around. I have purchased a few of these bottoms. They are not too high and not too low. Just right for a middle-aged woman. They are very comfortable. Sometimes, I find a swim top that I like elsewhere, and then order a Lands End swim bottom to pair with it. April 15, 2013
Oversized Waist Earlier this year I bought a size 10, which fit except that the legs were too snug. Others had mentioned the same problem. I decided to try a size 12 to see who that fit. While the rest of the suit would have made do, the waist was so large that I was afraid if I went in the water, it would not stay on. I normally wear size 10 chinos and have several in my closet. Kind of makes it very difficult to figure what to do. You can't wear a suit bottom that will come off and the next size down squeezes your legs but your legs are fine in all the other clothes this size. April 14, 2013
