It's better than anything else I have found, but not perfect.
Look at how it fits on the model - this is how it really does fit. I would classify this as mid-rise, NOT "high" rise. Having seen the photograph, it is what I was expecting in that regard and what I wanted. I'm only 34 so I wanted a little more coverage without looking matronly - this fit the bill very well and looks great with my tankini tops. For me, it fit pretty true to size. I wear an 8 in pants right now (with a bit of a muffin top since I carry all of my weight in my tummy) and based on other reviews I ordered an 8 and a 10 to try them both. Honestly, they both fit about the same - there seemed very little difference between the two sizes. The leg holes are tight, but not uncomfortably tight for me. I felt like the "tummy control" was actually a bit lacking. I wish the band at the top was a little wider and a bit tighter - It doesn't really do much for me, and it rolls down when you bend over. I am keeping the size 8 since I like them better than anything else I have found - but they aren't perfect.

Loved the banded top
The look and fit were great. I loved the way the top waistband was banded. Felt great on and coverage was perfect.

Leg holes snug
After not investing in a swimsuit for over five years due to pregnancy, I wanted a good, figure- flattering tankini suit. The bottoms fit well around the waist, but were too small in the leg openings, they pinched and made unsightly bulges and while I am by no means super slim, I am not on the other end. I am a true size 10, which is what I initially ordered. I returned them for 12 size and the fit better but still pinch and cause bulges and waist a bit loose. I like the fabric and the higher waist, just not the leg openings. Order up a size or two.

Low rise
This was in no way a "high rise" bottom. Returning.

fits like the skirted version
I am a 14 regular. Curvy but not in the bottom area! I found this to be saggy in the bottom.
I also had the same problem with the skirted version. I returned and found the shirred skirt to be a better fit for my body.

fit was off
I ordered these in a 16w and the area around my stomach was loose but the cut around my legs was very tight. I had to return them. The 18s I ordered were too large and based on my other Lands End bathing suits, I wear a 16W. i'm not sure if it was this specific fit or not but they didn't work for me.

Great, durable, but too small
I really loved these bottoms. They are thick, durable, and high enough to cover my mommy pouch. But according to the measuring guide I was a size 8 (normally I wear a size 6 in pants). When they arrived, the swimsuit totally cut into my thighs and a little into my belly. It was extremely unattractive. I am going to order a size 10 and see how that goes. I am definitely a bottom heavy person (my thigh measures 23in), so if you have skinny legs, don't worry about it, but if you are curvy, I would order a size up.

Great fit and support
Very true to size and fits securely. I don't have to worry about it riding up or sagging in the seat. I liked the height better than the high rise bottom without the tummy control. It's about an inch higher. It offers control without giving a muffin top.

Fit was way too small
This bathing suit was uncomfortably tight in my regular Lands' End size. The fabric was a nice weight but the constricting feeling and bulging appearance of this item made me send it right back.

Great bottom!
This is very comfortable and the tummy control works like a charm!
