Looks Cute Until You Move
I bought this in azalea to go with a tankini top. It was brighter than I expected, but looked good enough....until I took it out for a test drive. Because the ruching is not sewn to the sides of the brief underneath, the skirt works its way up when you are crawling around with kids or doing anything active. Also, when you come out of the water, the skirt sticks to your legs uncomfortably. This is probably because the fabric is rather thin, unlike the regular swim mini I already own. It is a bummer, because I thought the flounce of the skirt was fun, but I really like more coverage of my derrière than this offers! It could stand to be more flattering as well. Maybe this looks better on ladies with slim hips and thighs? I am 5'4", size 8 on the bottom, long torso, short legs. Hopefully, this will help someone decide what to go with. I know that my last Lands' End suit fit perfectly the first time, so this was a bit of a bummer. But the top fit great!

Not for ample lower halves!
As other reviews have said, I didn't find this bottom flattering at all. I'm not petite at all (I ordered a size 18) but it made me look even bigger - the folds of fabric looked stretched across my tummy even though it technically fit fine. It was comfortable but looked terrible. It also had a hole in the seam of the skirt.
I also ordered the regular swim skirt and it is much more flattering. This one is going back. Would look great on a slim figure.

was surprised by how much I liked this!
I'm an apple shape, size 10 in jeans. Because I wasn't sure about the fit, I bought the 10 and the 12. I really liked the style of the skirt, but was worried about how it would look. Normally I go for the short skirts that flare away, but I wanted to try something a little different.
I was surprised by much I liked the skirt.I liked that it looked more like a mini skirt, and less like a swim suit. The Aqua Jade color was beautiful! The skirt is a perfect length. Long enough to cover what I want to cover, but short enough to show that I am not trying to hide.
It seems true to size. I ended up going with the 12 just because it felt a little more comfortable on me. The ten wasn't tight, but because of my shape the 12 looked a little better. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

Nice fitting
I really liked this bottom. It fit great and someone hid my belly. If I kept the top, I would have kept the skirt.

Love it! Fit nicely and took on a cruise.
So cute! I wasn't sure of the size so I ordered an 8 and a 10. Happy to say, the 8 fits perfectly. Very nice quality and I hope to wear for years to come. I purchased black so I could wear it with different tops. Wore it the first time on a cruise to the Bahamas.

No tummy control
I thought the skirt was so cute on the model and was excited to order it. It reminded me of a cute little tennis skirt with a flair. But in reality, there is no tummy control and the ruching around the waist adds pounds. It was pretty short too. Didn't do me any favors. Sent back both of the ones I ordered. The smooth front Beach Living skirt was much more flattering for me, with tummy control. Too bad because this skirt really is cute in the catalog. Someone with a very flat stomach would look great in it.

It fits very well, hides my bottom, but still short and modern enough to tan and look great at the beach! The quality is very high and the colour is great!

Very cute and flattering
This skirt is great because it gives a little coverage without being frumpy at all. The skirt is just the perfect length and it hits at the perfect spot on my belly, and it is very forgiving of a tummy that's not quite flat. I feel very comfortable walking on the beach in it.
