Nice shorts even for an older chick like myself
I had feared these were a bit too short for my taste but have worked out well for me so far. The tummy control isn't much tummy control, however, I have bought other swim shorts that have control panels and all they do is push the fat up above the band and that disgusted me so this is nice without being a girdle. I had also felt the waist was too low for my taste and when first trying on desired a high waist but decided to try them in the pool and they have worked fine for me. I had feared they would ride down when jumping in or plowing down our slide at 100 mph but so far they have stayed in place and work very well. I will disagree with some reviewers that state the material should be more nylon type or parachute type material, as I have two pairs of those and don't like them so much anymore now that I have tried these. The swimsuit material works much better for me and stays where it should rather than being a balloon every time I jump into the pool. Also, this material stays out of my rear end (sorry, no nicer way to put it). My other swim shorts in the nylon/parachute type material have netting inside that ends up as a wedgy every time I jump in the pool, these do not. The material is good quality and I hope to get years of use from them. I am raising my 3 year old grandson and we have an enclosed pool so I have to have something that can last. Although these may not be considered perfect in every respect, what in life is perfect anyway....except my grandson! :-)

attractive look and fit
Bought these shorts for a vacation where we will tour then stop at water areas. I'm in my senior years and didn't want to always walk around in the bathing suit. These shorts serve my purpose. They are easy on/off and flattering. The leg opening is not too wide nor too tight. I usually take a 6 or 8 in pants and bought the 8 in this style. Fits perfect. The material is appropriate and comfortable.

Great product for us older gals!
I used to try and find swim short-like products to wear over my one-piece suits. I usually had to settle for men's swim trunks or ladies bottoms that were cut too low at the waist. These are GREAT!. They sit at the waist and provide the coverage I want as I have aged. Thanks!

sort of a recommend
It's tummy control is a little too gentle but I don't think a smaller size would fit the rest of me. Basically, it is okay both in and out of the pool.

Nice Short
I ordered these in both colors. I like the material. It is made out of the same or something very similar to the swim tops. Other shorts that I have seen have been more of a windbreaker material. These compliment the tops well and look nice. Just the right length to give that extra coverage. The only thing I don't care for is that they seem to pucker a bit in the front but that is minor. I haven't actually been in the pool with them yet so I don't know how they will perform when wet.

Nice swim short-- comfortable, serves its purpose. I can easily mix and match with several tankini tops.

I have other shorts that are more "short" material rather than bathing suit material. Could be better.
Fit is appropriate but the material is lacking. Could be more cotton-type fabric that is still swim suit material like men's suits. THEN have tummy control. It would be a nice short then.
