Finally, a suit I can swim in After buying several very disappointing Speedo suits, I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I had purchased suits to swim in from Lands End in the past and was disappointed. Love their bikinis for the beach. Anyway, this one ran true to size. You can get into it w/ out having to pull and yard on it. It stays put so I'm not tugging on it while swimming. And it's cut right so that water doesn't pour down the front of it while swimming. Now I only swim about once a week and have had this suit for about 3 months and it shows no sign of chlorine damage yet either. Which is an added bonus. June 4, 2013
So far so good Looking forward to seeing how this wears in our pool, having previously had poor results with other brands. Was apprehensive about buying a swim suit online because of my body shape but am very happy with the fit. I am a bit unhappy with how difficult the straps are to get off when the suit is wet but overall like the product and will definitely order another swim suit from Lands End. June 2, 2013
Very disappointing I needed a suit for fitness swimming. The straps looked ideal, the shelf bra is what I like, and the suits were pretty. They are a nightmare. The 14 fits well, but one would need to be a contortionist to get it off in a timely way. The straps were hard to get on as well, as soon as I found the way into it. So I tried the 16 - NO, this suit was too large, with the underarm being just under mine. The fabric is heavy, the suit won't dry overnight after a morning swim It remains that the suits are pretty, but swimming isn't about pretty. I've been wearing racing/fitness suits for 52 years...these are a nightmare and are on their way back to you. May 31, 2013
Nice looking and comfortable swimwear for the serious swimmer. The fit is perfect for swimming in that it minimimizes any drag. The back is very comfortable and provides for freedom of movement. May 29, 2013
This is a very practical suit, though the straps are not ideal. The fit is great. I ordered the D-cup and it has enough support for water aerobics (with lots of jogging through waist high water). The straps are not ideal as you have to shrug them over your shoulders. The fabric does wear quite well, especially as I use it in a heavily chlorinated pool. May 28, 2013
beautiful new suit Just received my new swimsuit. This is the mastectomy model. It fits very well and feels good on the body. It takes a little effort to get the straps over the shoulders but that means the support is excellent. I am thrilled to have the higher neckline since that is necessary since my surgery. Can't speak for how well it will last but am looking forward to testing it for a month of vacation by the sea with my little grandchildren. Thanks, Lands' End, for providing for us who need a little extra help! May 28, 2013
Not perfect, but pretty good I have generally avoided one-piece swimsuits but hoped that this one would get around my long torso and small bottom. It's a bit big around the bottom and a fraction small at the bust (and I don't have a big bust), but gives me the length I need, and the legs are not cut too high. The high front doesn't flatter me, and I will be looking for one with a halter neck, which suits me better, but in the meantime this will do for lap swimming. I have not used it yet, so can't comment on how well it resists chlorine. May 12, 2013
This suit doesn't fit right. Love the color, love the style. I ordered the d cup, since thats my cup size, but it had waaay too much space. May 11, 2013
Nice for laps. Comfortable fit and good support. I wanted a suit comfortable for swimming laps in. I think this suit is a good choice. Good value for the price. May fit a tad small but for the most part this fits well and true to size. I ordered the other color when I found out how much I liked it, as I swim a lot and needed more swim suits. I wanted a suit that was comfortable but did give good support. I do suggest you get the D cup size if needed if you do wear a D sized bra, as I do. May 11, 2013
Sizing Differs I have previously purchased the Butterfly Swimsuit, size 12 on two occasions and they fitted me very well. Although I needed help to untwist the straps, I was willing to put up with that and both suits stood up well through several months of indoor swimming at the Y. This suit, same size was very tight through the chest. Is it the compression bra? Also, I have to be a contortionist to get the straps over my shoulders. It has to go back. LE why is your sizing not consistent? May 9, 2013
