Good compromise between training swimsuit and a resort/beach suit
I have only worn this suit twice but both times I have received compliments (once from total stranger). I am happy with the quality, style and fit overall but on me the suit doesn't sit flat at the top of the front between the straps.

Extremely functional but not too flattering for a middle aged lady.
I am a 50 year old former competitive swimmer , too old for skimpy Speedo's! This is my fourth Lands End swim suit. Lands End swim suits are everything they're advertised to be, tugless, durable, comfortable, flattering. My only gripe about this style is it makes me look flat chested like a sports bra and the Y back shows my back fat. I liked the X back Lands End aqua fitness suit I had before much better. But I bought this suit for workouts, not looks. Otherwise, the fit is true to size, the style is otherwise flattering on the bottom half, no chafing, no riding up, no dangling straps, no "wafting" or bubbling, super comfortable and functional for lap swimming workouts. During racing dives and flip turns this suit won't budge!

Great for laps!
I ordered this suit for laps even though it doesn't come in a long. I am 60 and wanted a modest suit for lap swimming. I usually wear a Speedo competition suit but they just aren't long enough- and the "fitness" suits are dreary looking! After looking trying many Swim brands,I decided to try Lands End. This is wonderful in comparison to the others. It fits great., has an attractive design and the fabric is excellent. It can handle lots of flip turns and is very comfortable around the arms during various strokes.

Not a good fit for me
Quality of fabric and design seemed great, but the suit fit funny. I felt that the lines were not flattering to a curvy figure. It seemed to emphasize my stomach and make my torso look short and squatty. Biggest problem was how it fit in the top- tight across the chest, but with loose fabric at the very top. Not designed for someone with a lot on top!
