Women's 3/4-sleeve Starfish Terry Cowlneck Top 3.3 5 7 7
Arms too small & short in plus size! I bought one in each color, and have been wearing them. HOWEVER, on me the 3/4 sleeves are elbow length (despite my relatively short arms) and the sleeve itself is too tight from the shoulder to the elbow. It's as if the sleeves from a smaller size had been sewn onto a properly sized torso. Ideally, sometimes I would like to layer a shirt under this top, but I can't. Unclear whether this is a design or quality control issue, but almost every top I have bought from LE in the past 1.5-2 years has mis-sized sleeves and/or shoulders --- not enough ease for plus sizes. I've read many other similar comments, and wonder when this issue will be addressed effectively! March 25, 2013
Love the Starfish Cowl Neck I bought the long sleeve cowl neck last season. Loved how it felt and looked. I also got lots of compliments on how I looked when I wore it. So this season, I bought the 3/4 sleeve cowl neck and got the same compliments. I hope you bring the long sleeve back for the winter months. It is warm but not clingy. I love wearing both with pants or skirts. March 22, 2013
Huge neck At first I loved this top..nice fabric and fit but the cowl neck GREW as the day went on. It was huge! I ended up returning it. I don't know if it was just mine or if it's a common problem . I've noticed an INCONSISTENT SIZING ISSUE with all the STARFISH items I've ordered. Several reviewers have commented about this. Sloppy Looking This looked too big and sloppy on me. Even if I ordered the next size down I'm don't think I would like it. I think you have to be a size small for it to look good. It just made me look sloppy and fatter than I am. January 19, 2013
Deep Wrinkles I love Land's End. However, this one item, the Terry Cowlneck was a huge disappointment. It arrived perfectly packaged, but the wrinkles were very deep and even after wasing it in cold water and laying it out, the exact same wrinkles were still there. I can't wear it because of this, and I am disappointed because the design is flawless. I think the problem started when I did not understand the term "terry" as a fabric. Because I have other tops from Land's End exactly like this, but the fabric was much thinner but still thick enough to wear easily. There were the normal small wrinkles from shipping, but they fell out almost immediately. So, I have learned not to order terry anything unless in pj's or a bathrobe. Still a solid fan of Land's End and will continie to buy, buy, buy. I love their clothing. December 15, 2012
great material Perfect for the Fall & Winter months. The material is of a nice weight. Not thin at all. I wish it came in more interesting colors. I bought it in Rich Eggplant & it is true to the photo. Definitely not as wide & baggy as the Boatneck Tunic. December 13, 2012
Soft and Comfy This sweater is soft and comfortable. It fits true to size for Lands End medium. I purchased the petite and it hits me just perfectly past the hip. I have not washed it yet, so I can't comment on shrinkage. I love it so far! November 29, 2012
