Comfortable & professional
I enjoy wearing this dress as it fits nicely on my 'hourglass' shape. I can wear it easily for a professional meeting or out to lunch with friends. I love the red color!

Fabulous Petite Fit!
I am amazed by the comfortable and polished fit of this dress! I am 5'2" and normally wear XL, but ordered L based on reviews. The petite length was slightly below knee and very flattering. V-neck fits well without too much exposure. I'm ready to order more in the solid colors!

Love this dress
I can't say enough good things about this dress. First, the fabric was way better than I was hoping for. I was worried it would be silky and clingy~ a recipe for disaster on a curvy figure. It hangs nicely and doesn't adhere to lumps and bumps. It does run a full size large but the description warns of that. I ordered the Large (14/16). I am 5'6 42 DD and generally between a size 16 and 18 depending on the cut. I am an apple shape (and short waisted) so often have a hard time with waists being too small and chests being too tight. I often size up due to these traits and I also tend to shy away from wrap styles as they tend to gape on a busty figure. Not a problem with this dress. It really does my body type a lot of favors. The cut in the shoulders and neckline is also very flattering (I have narrow shoulders). The green pattern print is also better looking than I thought it would be. I am blonde and fair complected. I expect to wear this a lot! Thanks Lands End for making a dress I can wear since I am not typical model proportions.

Cute
I listened to other reviewers and ordered a size down (XS). The dress fit perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the material was cottony but chiffon-y which I think is more versatile. The print is nice. Also, the neck line is not too low.

High Waisted, but Otherwise Nice
I loved the look of this dress the first time I saw it. Others have said it runs big, and I don't doubt them. I'm a size 10-12, usually a medium, with an hourglass figure (but larger hips), and the "big" fit makes the dress not clingy. Nice! However, the waist is very high, which isn't to my liking. I'm short waisted, and am constantly pulling the waist down. If I leave it where the cut of the dress naturally falls, it makes the dress look frumpy. The material quality is fine. Not as nice as it was in the past, but not as thin as most of the things I've recently ordered from Land's End. The very high waist did stop me from purchasing the dress in red, but I continue to wear the one I have. Looks good with or without boots.

Perfect fit, drapes well
I usually wear a size 12, even though it is a little loose on me. I ordered this dress in size M and it fits like it was tailored for me. The fabric is stretchy and drapes really well. It is a great fall or cold-weather dress.

Love it!
I absolutely love the fit of this dress, and the sale price! I ordered both colors and I am so glad I did. I am 5 feet tall, 120 pounds and the Petite XS is perfect for me. I am glad I read the reviews first so I would know to size down (usually I wear Petite S in Land's End clothing). I think the S would have been ok, but probably a little big up top for me (I am not large-chested). The fabric is comfy and great for fall, winter, and spring. Can wear as is or dress it up a bit with a belt and cardigan. I recommend it!

I like it, anyway
I'm surprised by all the negative reviews for this dress. Yes, it fits quite big. My measurements are 42-35-42 and the medium fit me well. I like the weight of the fabric because it's good for layering and it softens up once you wash it. I like the higher waist which hits me on the slimmest part of my ample hourglass figure. I always get many compliments when I wear this dress out, though I do always pair it with a leather belt and boots to make it a little more polished.

Pretty, but will need alteration
I ordered this in red. It is a lovely dress, but is almost a full size too big overall. I used the size chart to carefully measure and order the right size, because I live in the Philippines, which makes returns time-consuming and expensive. I ordered another dress from Lands End in the same order in the same size and it fits me perfectly. This is an issue with the dress itself, not me having a problem with measurements. Luckily, I live in an area with great tailors and should be able to have it altered downward without too much fuss. Future buyers beware, though.

Total miss for me
I've ordered several LE dresses lately and been pleased with most, but this one was a total miss. Maybe I've gotten spoiled, but the fabric had a much cheaper feel to it than I was expecting (and I didn't pay much, so my expectations weren't that high)- especially the printed version (I ordered both a solid and the green print). The dress print looked cute in the photos, but made me feel old (I have a pix of my mother in about 1974 in a polyester peach floral dress that I couldn't help seeing in the mirror). Also, I am 5'8, short-waisted, and generally absent of curves. So 1) the waistband height issue that so many other reviewers had wasn't really a problem (but they are right in their criticism as it was almost too high for me); it hit a few inches below my bra and bagged up so that it looked like I had a fat roll immediately beneath my boobs and 2) I was hoping a wrap style dress would "create curves" on this body, but all it did was make me look like an Easter egg. Also, I am a 36C and the small was too big.
I gave it two stars only out of acknowledgement that my body type is not the dress's fault. If you already have a defined waist and are still short waisted, I think it could look really cute. Clearly it doesn't make the model look old and strangely shaped, but it was not meant for this body.
