Great dress, or greatest dress?
Man, this is one fabulous dress. I was on the fence for awhile, because this looked like it could easily go in the direction of bag lady instead of comfy lady. It's a fine line. Luckily this dress is straight comfy lady! It's the drawstring waist that saves it. The description of it feeling like wearing pajamas is spot on. I wore it with a pair of Starfish leggings to work and got nothing but compliments.
Do note: the fabric is a little lightweight. I got the barley colored dress and wore a coral shirt underneath...you could see the color of the shirt through it. Do keep that in mind. The dolman sleeves were snug on me, and I have skinny arms, but I liked the snugness. The pockets are handy, but things did slip out. Overall however, an absolutely fantastic dress. From the moment I put it on, I fell in love. Please keep making this dress LE, and I will buy it in every color!

GREAT dress and cute!
I own several other Lands End dresses from their current collection, but this is my favorite by far. The fit and shape are really flattering on me (I'm a 36DD size 8, so the cowl is nice to downplay my chest), and the drawstring adds a really cute touch to what would otherwise be a really saggy silhouette. I can throw it on with leggings and know that I look nicely put together but also am exceptionally comfortable. Wish they had it in a million more colors. I got the medium and it fits perfectly.

Not into it.
This dress got incredible reviews so I figured buying it in petite would be ideal. I have to agree with those who say that this dress is like wearing pajamas --I look like I'm wearing a nightgown. It IS like wearing a giant, shapeless, colorless sweatshirt. I guess it hides figure flaws but it also hides figure highlights. Where's my waist? Where's my collarbone? Oh yeah. It's under this beach towel of a dress. If there's a snowstorm and you have to get to work and wear your boots and half the office is going to call out anyway, this is the dress for that day. That one day. You'll wear this once and then it'll go to a friend or the Goodwill. I don't know. Maybe it's like a pair of jeans and you have to "break it in" and make it your own after wearing it.

Comfy and stylish
I bought this in an XL even though I generally wear a loose L and its perfect. The extra room is flattering because of the cinched waist and the dress is so comfortable and easy for fall.
