Love it!
I bought this dress in the cherry colour and on sale. I bought a size smaller than my usual LE size after reading the reviews and it fit great. I didn't have any problems with the belt loop at the back. I wore this dress to work and received many, many compliments. A comfortable, flattering dress!

unflattering for the high-waisted
I really wanted this dress to work, but because I have a high waist, this dress made me look shapeless. It's the belt in the middle: the model in the photo isn't very curvy, so this dress works well for her, I think.

A great dress
This dress fits a little big but the draping is very nice on the top. I have been wearing it with different belts. The tunnel in the back is a little odd but if you slide a skinny belt through it- pretty cute! The fabric is a little thinner than I expected but with a slip and tights- it looks smooth.

Tunnel belt creates slits in the back to reveal skin
The neckline is flattering, but this is not something I will wear without a sweater due to the tunnel belt. From the sides or back, people will see one-inch slits revealing your skin in the mid-section. The fit is great and it washes easily, but the belt keeps it from getting a high rating. I didn't even notice this until people started commenting on it. . . "Hey, did you know you've got holes in your dress?"

Versitile Dress!
This dress has a nice drape and feminine details like gathered sleeve hems. I'll probably swap out the self-fabric belt for one of my own to get a slightly more custom fit, but I do that with most clothes! Nice and stretchy - it'll be festive and comfortable to wear during the holidays!

Very flattering
I love this dress. I think the neck and waistline are both very flattering. It is dressy enough for work but comfortable enough to wear anytime. One of the best purchases I've made from LE.

Its going Back
I was fairly disappointed with this dress. First of all, this dress in my estimation fits an entire size large. I normally wear a small in Lands End but it was baggy everywhere and made my chest look saggy. The fabric is thin (it showed every bump and lump and panty line). In addition - based on the model at the picture at 5'9 I thought this dress was going to be knee length but was longer than I imagined. Unfortunately this one is a miss and is going back.

Cut dress for a busty, curvy girl!
Let me begin by saying that I love Lands End and the majority of my work clothing comes from here. I picked up this dress in black on a great sale. I love the 3/4 sleeves and the weight of the fabric can go year round. I am a busty size 14-16 and wear a 36E bra. I am 5'5", weigh 190 with a small waist, and hips and full thighs. I bought a Large, my normal size in Landsend. The bust of the dress does pull just a bit ehich is not an uncommon problem for me, but the drapy neckline seems to compensate for this. I loved the "channel" in the back for the belt, and like others, I exhanged the belt for a different one. Like I said, I am not a skinny girl and I think this dress flatters. The skirt has a slight A line and the whole dress has a casual elegance about it. Don't be afraid to try it out!

Great little dress!
I bought this dress on sale for my teen-age daughter who has looked everywhere for a nice, flattering red dress. She is tiny and so I ordered a Petitie XS. It fit her so nicely and was very flattering. Much to her surprise, it did not look "old-lady-ish" and was very stylish. She loved the color, material, and fit. I liked all that, plus the price and how flattering it is on her (not skimpy!). I went right back to the website and ordered her another one in black!

Beautiful and Easy
This is a great dress, especially for the sale price. Like the other reviewers mentioned, I removed the belt in order to use a more modern belt, but I can also wear the dress without a belt because it it isn't too baggy and has a good slimming line. The attached belt runs through a panel in the back so there are no loops visible when the belt is off. The neck line and 3/4 sleeves on this are so flattering and the fabric is very comfortable for all day wear. I have this in black and can dress it up for an evening out or dress it down for more casual occasions. It's also great for work with fall boots and a belt. Overall, great value, very versatile. I would buy it in another color if red weren't the choice. Seems to run true to size without being baggy or clingy and hits just below the knee on my 5'8" frame.
