Excellent Cover Sweater
I bought two of these: one for myself (tawny) and one for my mother (red berry). The sizing runs very large. Though I wear Lands' End plus sizes in almost everything (exceptions: jeans, corduroy pants, and most items from the Starfish collection), I bought a regular XL in this, and still had plenty of room. For my mother, who's larger in the chest, I bought a 1X, and it's nearly too big, though she prefers the roomier cut. The sweater, though, looks great, and strikes the perfect balance of comfort and professionalism. I highly recommend it, but also strongly suggest ordering at least one size down.

Loved this, please bring back in other colors
I order this last year in both brown and red and love them. Would love to have them offer more other colors such as white, black or blue. They are warm and comfortable and fit me perfectly.

Flattering and versatile cardigan!
I bought this cardigan (brown) at the end of last season, but didn't realize how much I would wear it until the cooler weather arrived this season. It's the perfect weight for layering, and looks fabulous with jeans. Every time I wear it, I get tons of compliments. I wanted to order another one in black, but it seems that Land's End is phasing this product out. Please, please bring it back in more colors! I can promise I will be the first to order!

Very elegant
I love this sweater so much I just reordered it in red, which I think is dressier than the brown.
Yes, it fits a bit big (I'm usually XL and find the L is perfectly ample) but I think it needs to or it wouldn't drape properly. Very nice weight, it gives you a bit of warmth but not so much that you can't wear it indoors. The fabric is nice, it almost looks hand knit.
If you don't like fabric hanging in front, this may not be for you (or you could size down), but it does camouflage figure faults! And it's very stylish to boot.

BIG - I recommend sizing down
I just received this today. I was exited about its arrival but sadly disappointed.
I got the brown. The colour wasn't as nice in person for my taste - seems a little more rustic than classic. But its okay.
According to LE sizing I should be an XL but then its LE so I ordered an L. It was still VERY BIG! I actually double checked the label to make sure the right size was sent. There is A LOT more fabric in front than it appears in the photo online. On the other hand, some reviews had mentioned tightness in the sleeves. I have not found this and my arms are definitely not slim. I am really tempted to return it but my 5 year old insists she loves it on me and I have to keep it. ;) Should I heed my short little fashion advisor?
The quality is lovely - what I would expect from LE but it is a little thicker than I expected. The images online depict show-thru and I liked that as it is for extra coverage with sleeveless tops and dresses but I live in a tropical climate so I was looking for something airy. Mine seems a much tighter knit with very little, if any, of the show-thru and airiness.
I will continue to ponder upon whether to keep it. It is a nice sweater afterall. I may just try it in a Medium in red - if I can get it.
