Weird sleeves
The jacket is a great colour, the perfect fabric and has a great cut in the body for a petite fitting but it has tiny narrow sleeves like coat hanger covers. They don't seem to have any shaping and I wondered if they are in fact faulty - size 8 sleeves in a size 10 jacket. They also have strange buttons on the cuff that don't allow you to shorten them which again is very odd. It is very disappointing as with the right sleeves it would have been a 5 out of 5 and I would have purchased another one. Returned to Lands End.

The blazer is a wonderful quality and color
The blazer is a wonderful quality and color. It will truly be a three season jacket, and therefore well worth the price. The fit is very comfortable. The sleeves are a little long and had to be tailored which is surprising for a Lands' End petite product. Overall though, this is a wonderfully practical jacket to have in your closet.

This jacket is too short to be classic--photo & description should be changed.
It's very hard to tell from the online photo where this jacket will hit, but this is not a "classic" - it is a semi-trendy short jacket that hits just a little below the waist. A photo showing it on a model would help. I am looking for a classic jacket (that isn't exactly like those I already have) to wear at work. That means something that covers my rear and that I can wear for many years. Women who are young and very thin may like this look and find it flattering, but as an average sized middle-aged woman, it did not work for me, so I am returning it.
The quality otherwise seems good.
