LOVE this bag!
I love the versatility of this bag. Very polished with the monogram. The long strap is adjustable and fits cross body or shoulder without a problem. The inside pockets that go all the way around are great for lip gloss, keys, phone, and even my iPad. It is not large enough for a beach bag for more than one person if you want to put beach towels in it, but for one it works great. I have packed it full with two full changes of clothes, two water bottles, iPad, typical handbag must-haves, and toiletries for two for a day at the hot springs (we carried our towels). It fit in the locker and stayed upright so I never worried about losing anything in the locker. This is my new go-to tote!

This is a great bag
I have lots of LE totes in various sizes, I use them for everything from groceries, to overnight trips to simply carrying things around my house. I keep the ones for groceries in my car. They are sturdy and last forever. Please offer more colors/combinations and handle lengths.

What a GREAT bag
All Land's End bags are strong and sturdy. Was able to get this bag on special - what a great deal!!! Bought for my sister, my new daughter-in-law and I just couldn't pass up this deal, so I bought one for myself. Like the fact that it has a shoulder strap or handles.

colors and secured top
I've had my bag for a couple of years now, but I keep checking back to see if there have been changes that would be helpful. These are my issues: #1 - Dark colors with dark handles to mask the inevitable scuff marks that show up. and spot cleaning is a matter of concern. #3 - A zipper top is so needed! With it would mean I wouldn't worry so much about keeping a wallet and other items safe or from just slipping out. Overall I love this bag - it's sturdy but a very comfortable weight, great pockets, sporty but not scruffy, great size for my purposes, a key fob, and the strap means I can slip it across the chest and have both arms free. PLEASE Lands' End consider. These are points that would really improve this bag!!

Smaller than expected
overall, the same excellent quality as the other canvas bags I have purchased, I was expecting something a little bigger. The height and width are fine, but I would have preferred that the depth be a couple of inches more. I had intended to use this bag for shopping at farmers markets, or bazars and feel, a wider bottom would have been helpful. I really like the adjustable strap that can be worn across the chest, since I have a walking disability and use a forearm crutch, this leaves one hand free, allowing me to examine merchandise at markets. Another excellent product that I'm sure will be improved upon in the future, until it is as exceptional as the other bags in this series.

Great for my work stuff
I bought this to replace my other long handled tote bag. I love the one strap and the size. It keeps my work papers the way I need them. The bag is sturdy, and good size. I love the pockets of various sizes on the sides. Lands End makes great totes, especially the sturdiness.

It really does need a zipper at the top
I like it, and I'll keep it...but this really should have been made with a top zipper, and I can't understand why it was designed and made without one. Without it, this bag is basically just okay. Cute, but not as functional as it could be.

HUGE
I was hoping this bag was just going to be a larger version of the small tote with the long adjustable handle. I use my small tote as a purse, but with two kids, I find myself stuffing sippy cups, snacks, and the occasional toy in the bag. I was looking for another bag with just a bit more room. I should have looked at the measurements but I didn't. This bag is gigantic. Granted, I'm 5'2" and 98lbs, so it might just be too large for my frame. It swallowed my purse contents and hung down to my knees even with adjusting the straps. I realize this isn't a purse and is intended for groceries, so this is entirely my fault. I wanted to review in case anyone else was thinking the way I was. Overall, the bag is fantastic and the yellow color is beautiful. I will definitely use the bag, but for a different purpose.

Really Dissapointed
I got this bag as a Christmas gift and LOVED it! I used it all the time and of course it eventually got dirty. I threw it in the wash, by itself and it bled all over itself. Of course, after the fact I read the label saying not to put it in the washing machine but to me that's ridiculous. What is the point of a canvas bag that I am supposed to be able to take to the market/grocery store if I can't wash it? If you are putting groceries in your bag, you are supposed to wash it weekly to keep germs at bay. Long story short, I now have a bag that I used to love but can no longer use.
