Great for my work stuff
I bought this to replace my other long handled tote bag. I love the one strap and the size. It keeps my work papers the way I need them. The bag is sturdy, and good size. I love the pockets of various sizes on the sides. Lands End makes great totes, especially the sturdiness.

It really does need a zipper at the top
I like it, and I'll keep it...but this really should have been made with a top zipper, and I can't understand why it was designed and made without one. Without it, this bag is basically just okay. Cute, but not as functional as it could be.

HUGE
I was hoping this bag was just going to be a larger version of the small tote with the long adjustable handle. I use my small tote as a purse, but with two kids, I find myself stuffing sippy cups, snacks, and the occasional toy in the bag. I was looking for another bag with just a bit more room. I should have looked at the measurements but I didn't. This bag is gigantic. Granted, I'm 5'2" and 98lbs, so it might just be too large for my frame. It swallowed my purse contents and hung down to my knees even with adjusting the straps. I realize this isn't a purse and is intended for groceries, so this is entirely my fault. I wanted to review in case anyone else was thinking the way I was. Overall, the bag is fantastic and the yellow color is beautiful. I will definitely use the bag, but for a different purpose.

Really Dissapointed
I got this bag as a Christmas gift and LOVED it! I used it all the time and of course it eventually got dirty. I threw it in the wash, by itself and it bled all over itself. Of course, after the fact I read the label saying not to put it in the washing machine but to me that's ridiculous. What is the point of a canvas bag that I am supposed to be able to take to the market/grocery store if I can't wash it? If you are putting groceries in your bag, you are supposed to wash it weekly to keep germs at bay. Long story short, I now have a bag that I used to love but can no longer use.

Great tote, need more color options
Love the functionality of this tote--sturdy, great for work or errands, great long comfortable strap. Would love to see it in more colors, though, especially dark solids like a navy or a coffee brown, as I'm not in love with the traditional cream for some uses.

Needs a zipper
I received this bag as a Christmas gift. I love Lands End totes and have several. I liked the design and construction of this bag very much but I am probably going to return it because the lack of a top zipper or other closure is a problem for me. Add a zipper and I would definitely buy this bag.

LOVE THIS TOTE!!!!
When I ordered this tote I was not sure if I would like it or not...but I absolutely LOVE IT! It is really sturdy and the long strap enables you to carry it across your body. I have taken it everywhere since I received it. It really came in handy during my Black Thursday and Black Friday shopping!

Greatest Tote Ever
This tote arrived just in time for Pre-Thanksgiving food shopping and it's the greatest bag ever!!!!
The long shoulder strap makes it easy to use as a cross-body and I was able to get all my veggies
from the farmers' market in one easy to carry trip.
I LOVE this bag! Will probably order some for gifts.

Perfect!
I love this bag. The strap is sturdy and doesn't slip off my shoulder. I use it as a work bag. It holds my laptop, power cord and all the other miscellaneous things I need. I really load this bag heavy and it never feels like it is straining or working too hard (if that makes sense). I don't have to worry about it falling apart. The only issue I have, and it is not the bag's fault, is color transfer from dark pants to the light canvas. I have to wash it every other week, but it always comes out looking great. I wish they would make more color combinations!
