Luxury in the bath
We received these towels as a Christmas gift. They are the nicest towels I have ever used. Ours are the parchment color and they are beautiful, even though I usually prefer an actual color like green. The hand towels and the bath towels are larger than the normal towels we have. I usually wash our towels after one use. These towels can be used two or three times before going to the laundry. The absorbent hand towels are great for drying my long hair. The washcloth seemed a bit thick at first, but I've gotten used to it.

The towels are soft and luxurious but snag easily on fingernails/necklace.
I have to admit these are the most luxurious towels I have ever purchased. While I am satisfied with their cottony softness, in the five weeks I have used the towels, the larger bath towels have each two to three snags from my fingernails (moderate length) and jewelry. I would recommend if you purchase these towels to remove all jewelry prior to their use.

Color on screen not accurate
I think these towels are very nice, out of the box, in terms of weight and feel. Soft but not too thick.
BUT Buyer beware, I ordered the "Shale blue" which, to me, sounds like and looked (online) like a grey-blue. These are really a light aqua. I'm pretty disappointed by the color - should have ordered a swatch.

Great towels - colors aren't quite the same as shown
We received these towels as a surprise housewarming gift and we LOVE them! They are SO soft and very luxurious. We didn't ask for these so they were a complete and wonderful surprise that make our new master bath totally seem like a spa bath. So far I've only washed them once before we used them, but they seem to hold up well to the washer.
I came online to see what exactly they were to order more for our other baths, and even though we really like the towels, the colors shown are definitely not the same as the colors we received. The blue is definitely lighter and more like a light/sky blue. I would have loved this slate blue color that is shown, but that's not what ours look like. Also, the off-white color is definitely a light cream. I think this picture makes it look more yellow than it really is - it's definitely a soft white/light cream color. Again, they're beautiful and we really like them but don't expect the same colors as shown.

My husband loves these
My husband has very sensitive skin and these towels are very soft. They don't leave him itchy.

Fabulous
I bought this set for my 95 year father when he moved into a retirement home. I told him that I bought him the blue towels to remind him of all the blue skies he's seen over his lifetime. He loved them! I said that they were spa towels and he replied that he didn't know what that meant but the towels made him feel like a king. Pampered!

These are just what I wanted. I haven't had towels this nice since the last great ones I ordered from Land's End eighteen years ago.

Best towels EVER
I ordered samples from LE to see if the colors and quality were what I was hoping for. The free samples came quickly and I ordered my fabulous towels. The colors are beautiful and the quality is outstanding.. They are thick, absorbent and the border is SO WELL DONE. Even at this price point this is a great deal but I was lucky enough to take advantage of a 40 percent off day. What a find!

I love this towel set.
I love this towel set. The loops are short and ultra absorbent. I will buy more in other colors. The best quality towel that I have ever owned.
