Improved
Have been using these rugs for many years. They used to be first rate: durable, non matting and somewhat more plush than the current version. My purchase about 2 yrs ago in Desert Khaki was very disappointing mainly due to the matting and thinness. It did not feel like there was any cushioning when walking on it and it was flat within hours of vacuuming. I am much happier with my recent purchase in Ivory. The rugs have been in use for several days and it seems like there is a little more under my feet than the previous version. It is somewhat denser and definitely a different weave that does not matt as severely. But they are still quite low profile so the doors open easily over them. It is difficult to find a non-skid double sink runner and the mid-quality is better than found in local places. My only complaint is that the contour on the previous version was ill fitting on elongated toilet bases. This newer version contour fits even worse. I am exchanging the contours for the 16x23 which actually looks much nicer in place and functions equally well. Overall I am very pleased with the look and quality and happy LE made some improvements. I couldn't find the size choices, non skid and quality elsewhere.

Not up to Lands End standards!!
These are terrible rugs! I am a long time Lands End customer (usually a satisfied one) and this is the worst product I have ever purchased from Lands End. The rugs mat down as soon as they are stepped on and after they have been on the floor for as little as a day, you don't even feel like there is a rug under your feet - you might as well be standing on the hard bathroom floor. I would never purchase these rugs again and am so disappointed that Lands End would sell a product of this quality.

The rug is smaller than most bath mats
The color is a perfect match to the towels, but the size is smaller than most bath mats and smaller than I would have liked. Had I realized it was this small, I would not have purchased it.

This bath rug is made well but not perfect.
I bought the 20 x 39" bath rug and the contour bath rug. They are well made and probably will last a long time. That being said, from the picture, I thought it was going to be a more softer feeling rug.The only difference between walking on it and the floor is it is not cold! The contour rug doesn't fit around the toilet and the rug is is off too but it works for me. Left the tag on so I remember which way to place it so it fits in my area. Still looking for the right size rug that feels good and is made well. Lands End if you could make this rug soft and cushy and have the contour rug actually fit around the toilet it would be perfect!

Contour Rug
When I read the a review about the contour rug not fitting around toliet I thought the person must have one of the newer very expensive huge bathrooms.....not true. I bought the rug for a contractor grade normal size toliet and it is too small to fit.

Contour rug doesn't fit around toilet
On what toilet did the the rug manufacturer base its measurements? The 'contour' isn't wide enough to fit around the toilet. This is the first time I've ever seen this in a bath rug. How about at least listing all the rug's measurements so a buyer can be sure?

Non-skid backing not holding up
I have bought a number of these mats and just today (after not that many times in the washer in the 1.5 years I have had it) I took it out of the dryer and now there a big hole in the mat. The backing has always been flaking off. I loved the top...but the bottom is a thumbs down...and that is why I wouldn't reco the product.
