Do not buy this blanket.
I bought two of these last summer when we were redoing our bedroom. We didn't use them immediately but when we did, found out what a mess they made. They make fuzz constantly...even after several washings. We can't lay anything that's dark on them as the item comes away, in serious need of the lint roller! They also snag easily. I'm done with them so they will be donated and replaced. I'm surprised that Lands' End sold them and still does. I'm used to much better quality.

Beautiful - Not Practical for Pet Owners
I purchased this blanket to use/add color at the foot of my bed. After only a few short weeks, the blanket has several major picks and runs throughout the entire blanket. (It looks terrible and I'm now on a hunt for a replacement blanket.) I do have a small dog, who isn't a biter or a chewer. The only thing I can think of is that it came from his paw nails. However, I must say, I've never had any sort of issue with any other blankets in the house, so I truly believe it's the loose weave in the blanket that makes it so delicate and unpractical for every day use.
I will say that if you are using this blanket as a layering blanket between your bed sheet and comforter, you will probably be satisfied, as it will be protected. It is very soft and pretty, just not practical for exposed daily use.

Do not buy this blanket
beautiful looking blanket, but the loose weave showed multiple pulls after one week of use
Our old 5 year old blanket looks better. Very disappointed and consider it a waste of money.

Stunning Texture and I LOVE the Desert Tan Color!
This Supima Cotton Blanket in Desert Tan looks gorgeous on my couch. I am really in love with this neutral color, Desert Tan, not too light that it picks up dirt, and a great color from LE that blends in better with my decor where ivory would be a glaring contrast. It looks great with my creamy upholstery and navy & fresh green pillows. It's one of those amazing neutral colors that looks great with the entire color palette. It washed and dried well the first wash, not too much lint, though I did clean the lint tray half way through just to be on the safe side based on the other reviews. The blanket has a nice weight, not flimsy; the texture is rich; and the weave is nice and tight. There is one knot/imperfection in the weave, but that really doesn't bother me. I have my fingers crossed that this blanket holds up over repeat washes. I simply love it!

A lovely cotton blanket!
I ordered this blanket in September for a guest bed in our home. I washed and dried it twice before use to remove any loose lint, and have had no problem at all with lint shedding, pilling, or snags. The blanket is nice and thick, (but not too thick), and a is higher quality blanket with a much tighter weave than a Land's End blanket I purchased about 15 years ago. I like this blanket so much that I am now ordering it in a queeen size for my own bed. I'm getting it on sale, so the cost is very reasoable. Thanks, Land's End!

So soft and so warm
Love, love, love this blanket! I'd been using a knit blanket that I bought at a large chain retailer, and this one is far superior! Much thicker, warmer, and softer. It's the perfect weight for a summer night, and I plan to layer it with a quilt or comforter in cooler months. I worried a little that it might be too thick and too warm for me--I'm one of those people who's always too hot--but it's actually been just perfect.
Laundered very nicely, though, as expected, it did need some extra drying time. I originally purchased in "sky blue" which appears to no longer be available. The color was more of an aqua than I expected, so I exchanged for white. Couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Great blanket, great value
I have had this on my bed for a year or so. I have not seen any pulls. It is perfect year-round. We use an extra, heavier blanket in the winter and this over the sheet in summer. It has been washed several times and still looks great. I recommended this to my daughter who bought them for twin beds in a guest room. She is also happy with them. I am going to buy a couple more since they are on sale now. Great value!

Snags easily
Love the color and weight and quality of the cotton but if you have pets that will jump on the blanket, forget it. I've had to try to fix and/or hide the snags. Now I keep a quilt over most of the bed.

Perfect for in between seasons
I have now bought 2 of these blankets and I love them. We have 2 dogs that love to jump on the bed in the mornings so they have caused a couple of pulls but I've tried to minimize by adding a cotton spread. The blanket is super soft, washes well and perfect for those nights when a sheet is not enough.
