Excellent sheets!
I LOVE these sheets - I washed and tumbled dry cold for a bit and hung to dry for the rest of the time. First time using them - they are super soft and as soon as I wake up, I am happy to feel these comfy sheets on my skin. My boyfriend even loves them and he's so fussy. They seem well made and looks like they'll last a long time and fit my queen size bed very well. I bought the khaki and the colour is nice warm light brown/beige that can work with all kinds of colours. I would be very happy to pick up another set down the road.

Love!
I don't get any of the negative reviews. These sheets are great! I have a 21" thick pillow top mattress and the fitted sheet fits like a glove. The top sheet was long enough to tuck the end under the mattress and the pillow cases are a generous size as well. The cotton material is crisp and thick. I bought the blue and they are so pretty. I love the buttons on the pillow cases. These sheets are OXFORD which means they emulate a cotton oxford shirt. Some high thread count cotton sheets are so soft they don't feel like sheets. I own many of them and these new oxford sheets are my favorites. I bought them for 40% off with free shipping and I am thrilled. I am going get all the colors. Thanks Lands' End!

Far from perfect
After reading all the reviews and chatting with Lands' End online, I decided to purchase these sheets on sale.
Let me start with Softness, since that is mentioned more than anything else in everyone's reviews. If you are looking for 400 tc Egyptian cotton / flannel soft, do bother buying these sheets. However, after a couple washings they are soft enough for my comfort. They are substantially heavy and this gives me the feel I was looking for. I had gone into this purchase with my eyes wide open because I love and wear oxford shirts that are made of a similar fabric.
Buttons on the pillowcases are awesome. I sleep on my side with one pillow tucked between my legs for comfort. Other pillow cases slip off in the middle of the night and these never will because of the buttons. BTW, I do not notice the buttons while in bed, only in the morning when I make it up again.
Size: HMMM, I have a 9" full size mattress. I was assured by Lands' End people that the fitted sheet will be tight on the mattress. NOPE. I was told it will fit any mattress because the elastic is around the entire fitted sheet. That is like saying a size 50 waist pants will fit everyone because of elastic waistbands. I don't know who would own a 20" full size mattress but apparently more people than I thought because the sheets I need are all but impossible to find.
It is my opinion that the premium price you pay for these sheets is inflated because the company has decided that returns are easier to deal with than inventorying additional sizes to accommodate the wide range of mattress thicknesses.
In summary, had I not bought these sheets on sale they'd be going back, but since I have yet to find a high quality sheet set with the proper fitted sheet, I need to keep them.

So scratchy!
I love the striped Oxford sheets I bought last year from LE. They were soft but still crisp--the perfect balance. So this year I decided to add in some solid blue to the mix, and I was shocked by how rough the sheets were. I'd get a full body exfoliation in my sleep if I kept these! No thanks...back they go!

Great!!!
I have been needing new sheets forever. Finally ordered two sets of queen-size from Lands' End because of their great quality and return policy.
Wish I had ordered four sets. Love buttons on the pillowcases because it makes them fit the pillows so nicely.
Each set has only been washed twice but they are softer already. Love the oxford cloth.

Crisp sheets!
I had been on a search for crisp hospital style sheets for quite some time, and had no luck. I found a review on the Oxford Bedding that sounded like it might be a good match, just like the feel of an Oxford shirt. I think the price is a bit on the high side for sheets, but I am picky, and if they are crisp and good quality, then it is money well spent.
So, I took the plunge and bought these. I am extremely happy!!!! They appear to be great quality, and even more important, the sheets feel crisp when you get into bed. My PJs aren't dragging on the sheet when I roll over, little fuzzies aren't left behind clinging to the sheet, and of course there is zero pilling. I waited to write the review until after a few washings and I am still very pleased. My boyfriend, who is so laid back he could sleep on a potato sack, even commented on how nice they are!
A few details about the quality ... the seams are perfect, nice white stitching on the red sheet, nice button closures on the pillows that are functional and decorative, no loose strings, and even after a week or two between washing, then still look and feel good.

These sheets are absolutely fantastic!
I was looking for some substantial sheets for my king bed and was happy that LE still has these terrific oxford sheets. I tried some percale sheets -- but they were too "loud" when I tossed and turned at night. These are perfect. I have two sets of the older versions for my queen beds (sheets are over 10 years old) and love the new version, too. I use both the solid and striped sheets (mixing them for added style on the bed.) The only negatives are that the pillowcases sometimes come out of the dryer wrinkled at the edges and the buttons are small and challenging to fasten. I wish LE had other color options.
Otherwise, I love them!

My favorite sheets!
My husband and I LOVE these sheets! Well worth the price. They last incredibly well and are so comfortable. I do not find them scratchy as others have mentioned. I have the striped ones as well for an alternate set. They look lovely and the buttons add a nice finished look when the bed is made. I highly recommend!

Not a great idea to have hard buttons on a pillowcase. Don't bother. Scratchy fabric too.

Very Scratchy -- Not At All Like My Husband's Shirts
I'm on a quest to find the perfect summer sheet. Alas, the crisp, substantial, 100% percale that I love (and which LE carried before The Change) no longer seems to be available from anyone.
So, I ordered these, hoping that the oxford cloth would approximate the feel that I'm seeking.
Unfortunately, even after two washes, the sheets remain scratchy, and feel downright funny. My husband has a multitude of oxford cloth shirts, regular and pinpoint, from LE and the store in the Northeast. These sheets feel like NONE of them.
They're going back. And what really stinks is that I'm going to have to pay for postage because we're overseas.
