Our Wheeled Duffel is backed with tough yet surprisingly lightweight polycarbonate. Adding that shell lets us minimize internal framing and weight — which helps you stay under airline weight limits that trigger extra charges. U-shaped front zipper makes everything easy to see and reach. The front handles have a leather wrap and the top handle has a leather grip. Spot clean. 21 1/2"H x14"Wx9"D. Imported.

great one bag travel!
the BIG suitcase is out due to airline charges. this is the perfect size suitcase to carry all you need onto the plane with you.. this combined with a backpack is all each of us needs to travel....and it all goes on the plane with us. i love the 2 compartments that can be made into one if desired. they are durable so far. i just wish there were more colors to choose from. i would like to have one color for each person in my family. i bought a navy one not long ago, and now that color is not available. i will be buying the green and red on this order to add to our 3 bags we already have. we will have to label them with a ribbon for identification. since i did not monogram the first 3, i cannot do the rest or 3 of us would be left out!

Bring Back The Former Lighthouse Luggage Line PLEASE!!!!
A few years ago, I purchased a couple of Lighthouse luggage pieces and absolutely love them. Very durable material, sylish, lots of pockets and other features. So, I recently purchased the small Lighthouse Wheeled Duffel for my son. You can't beat the convenience of LE's monogramming service. And if it had been made out of the same material as my Lighthouse luggage, I would have given it 4 stars for quality (minus 1 point for lack of features and style) and recommended it. As is, though, there are better deals on the market -- similar styles with better features (like front pockets, interior pockets, expandability, etc.) for a lot less money.

This luggage was very disappointing
I have bought 6 pieces of the former lighthouse style of luggage...LOVED IT. This new hybrid in NO WAY can compare to the old style. The quality for the same money is not close in material, design, durability, etc. My daughter decided to keep this duffel bag because she wanted to match the green larger bag she had in the old style. I didn't want to & I don't believe it will last very long. We chose the duffel bag style because of the negative reviews on the other styles of the carry on. I was hoping this was just a cheaper product for now & something better would come out before Christmas, but I was told the former lighthouse style was gone for good...toooooo bad. I will not purchase any more.

Highly Recommend!
I just traveled with this suitcase/duffel bag for the first time and it was great. It is lightweight, the handle is very easy to pull out/retract, the wheels are sturdy and move well. It has two compartments that you can unzipper into one large compartment. The bottom layer looks like a traditional suitcase. I was able to fit 4 days of kids summer clothes for both kids (ages 5&8), plus bathing suits, toiletries, etc. (all the standard stuff kids need on a trip to grandma's). I put shoes and a few books and toys in the top (duffel)compartment with room to spare. I was amazed at how much this bag was able to hold. Also, both kids could easily pull the suitcase through the airport. This will pay for itself after a few airline trips of not having to pay to check a bag. Well done, Land's End!
