The ottoman’s base is woven seagrass shaped around a strong frame of mahogany and rattan. Seagrass is an ocean plant that grows in light-rich shallows. When harvested, plaited and woven, it dries as a lightweight, rigid — and easily renewable — option for building furniture and more. The included cushion is firm polyurethane foam with a zip-off, 56% polyester/44% cotton woven cover. Wipe chair with damp cloth. Machine wash cushion cover.
