Great uniform pants, but would be better in a tapered leg.
I love these pants. Look nice enough to pass for school uniform pants, but wear like a pair of sweat pants. Well, I'm a 41 year old male, at least they LOOK AND FEEL like they wear like a pair of sweat pants. :)
My minor complaint is the leg. Kids grow so fast it's hard to find a pair of pants that last in waist and length. I'm not the sewing type, and even if I was, this fabric would be a pain to hem.
If these had a tapered leg, they could bunch a little at the bottom or be easier to roll if they were long. The pants as currently designed, if a little long, are especially prone to the stitching coming apart. It's happened to several pair.

great pants but shows every flaw
These are super comfy....I ordered the gray. I wish they came in a darker, heathered gray. According to my hubby (who doesn't really care) they show every flaw...dimples and chubs....etc. So, they are amazingly comfy, but will be worn at home. I may wear them with a long shirt or jacket, but that's it. I would order the darker colors, but I have four cats and the cat hair annoys me. They wash and dry great...no shrinkage in the leg length or waist. Super, but offer more colors. Also, I bought these not realizing they were uniform ones....

great pants but would like slim sizes offered
My 9 year old daughter attends a private school with a uniform policy. She prefers the comfort of stretchy pants with no zippers or adjustable waist buttons pressing on her abdomen. We tried these yoga pants as they are a heavier and nicer material than the typical yoga pant. We went with a size 10. Her actual size would be a 10 slim but these are not offered in slim sizes. An 8 fits better but is about 2 inches too short. Any kid will tell you that is not acceptable and it looks geeky. I appreciate when reviewers supply the child's measurements for comparison so my daughter is 55 inches tall and weighs 65lbs. - NO ONE I can find offers yoga pants in either long or slim sizes - or size 9. Lands' End would corner the market on us mother's with tall, slim kids. The pants stay up on her but are baggy; they would look much nicer with a slimmer cut. However, she finds them very comfortable and is not happy when they are all in the wash!

LOVE THESE PANTS!!!!
I buy these for my daughter every year. They are a wonderful fitting yoga pant(not too tight) and age appropriate. I wish that lands end would have them for adults because I think this will be the last year they will fit her. If you are looking for durable, comfortable pants these are the ones you want!

Wonderful Uniform Pants
I have purchased these pants for my 3 daughters for the past few years. They are comfy and generally fit very well----they were a bit long on one of my younger twin daughters but only slight adjustment needed. The material is comfortable but looks very neat throughout the whole school year. I just wish Lands End would bring back the dark grey color to match the skirts.

The Yoga pants are wonderfully durable and comfortable for my daughter. They wash and wear so well I bought her 11 pairs!

Fit well
It fits well to my 8-year-old girl. I like the stretch part. So it's not very baggy. But I wish the bottom is a bit smaller instead of somewhat bell bottom like. I also wish this pants can be made with a bit warmer fabric for wearing in late fall and early spring seasons.

well made, comfortable
I bought these in the adult size for myself to wear with a sweatshirt or other comfortable top and these pants are fabulous! They are just the right length (I'm 5'5") I would encourage you to order a size down if your size is in between..I ordered a 6/8, and I usually wear a 10 in pants. They do stretch out a little as the day goes on but not too bad. I want to order more!! My daughter also has these as school pants and they are very sturdy and hers have maintained their quality after having them for a year. Highly Recommend!
