Together they're a warm, water resistant system. Other features include: adjustable cuffs at the wrist to keep out rain; cargo pockets with storm flaps and side-entry pockets to keep hands warm; and an adjustable waist bungee in the shell to cinch in a better fit. A chest pocket lets them stow extras. 100% nylon shell. 100% polyester fleece liner. Machine wash. Imported.

Only for MILD weather
This is a pretty coat with soft fleece, however it was not at all what I expected. The fleece and (thin) rain shell were very light and not at all "warm"; much like a lined windbreaker. If this is what you're expecting, then it's a lovely choice. I however, returned mine.

Overpriced - System flawed
Ordered one for my husband and one for myself. I have worn Land's end coats for years. This is the first time I can remember returning a Land's End product. . These coats ran small. The fleece liner is flimsy and does not fit the coat well. The sleeves of the coat and the liner just do not work together. The liner sleeves bunch and come out beyond the coat sleeve. This coat is seriously overpriced. If value was not an issue, the coat might be good to pack, as it is quite thin. Customer service was very helpful.

Great versatile jacket
I bought this jacket for a trip to Paris and London in October. The jacket was the perfect weight and gave me the right amount of warmth and kept me dry in the rain. The front pockets were great to hold maps on one side and subway tickets on the other. Love this jacket, so glad I bought it.

My daughter complains that the sleeves "feel funny" when the liner is in the jacket
My daughter loves the colour and finds the shell to be just what she wanted for a lightweight rain jacket. She doesn't like wearing the fleece liner in the jacket however as the sleeves "feel funny." This seems to mean that the armholes hang down to far and the liner sleeves are a bit short. It's doing the job though. We originally ordered an extra large girls' size. She is 13, slim, and still fits into most 14-16 girls' size items. That jacket was far too small overall. She's finding it more comfortable in a misses' medium - except for the above mentioned armholes.

Uuuggghhhh
Ordered this as required by school. Lot of money for little use I am afraid. In the past have gotten more than 1 year out of a jacket but not this one I am afraid. :0(
