My daughter was so excited to wear it to school even though she doesn't need to this year.
My younger daughter likes it. Seems to wash fine.
My older daughter wants it in navy, but you have been out of it for several months in her size.

Great skirt!
I was hesitant to buy this skirt because it's part of the 'school uniform' collection, and I was buying it to wear as a casual skirt for the weekends. It's a great skirt, casual but still crisp and neat. I paired it with a black sweater and black riding boots and it looked stylish and pulled together. Has some stretch, so it's really comfortable. The reviews I read were correct about sizing - it does run big. I ordered down one size and it was a perfect fit. It was a little long for me (I'm only 5'3") so I had it hemmed, but at the price I paid for it, it was still a great deal. Only potential drawback is that it needs to be ironed when it comes out of the dryer.

Wish they would go back to the old skirt
I am in 10th grade, and I have to wear this skirt for my school uniform. I do not like this skirt. This skirt is uncomfortable, unflattering ( I'm 5"8 and weigh 135), and overall a disappointment . However, I did like the old uniform skirt lands end had, the one with pockets. That skirt was much more comfortable and the pockets were great too. So lands end please go back to the old uniform! I have to wear this everyday!! I ordered the size 4 skirt and it was a little bit big. The size 2 fit well but I wasn't ure if it was going to shrink so I got the size 4. If you wash theses skirts in hot/warm water they do shrink, in length and in overall size, but they do stretch out again.

Just what we expected
The skirt was just what we were expecting.

This ADULT skirt runs LARGE but comfortable, length is modest and comfy. Comes out of drier wrinkly - which is disappointing
Nice A line ADULT sized uniform skirt. Runs LARGE (and not at ALL the same as other Lands End products). Also it comes of the drier wrinkly - I had assumed that the stretch fabric would be no-iron - which is not and the case and is disappointing. A nice length that is modest but not school 'marmy.
Overall - it's OK, but pricey at $40.

Runs big.
Runs big but it's a cute style. It literally fell off my daughter, even with the adjustable waist. Had to return.
