Very Pleased I ordered these capris even though they got a lot of bad reviews. I only ordered 1 pair cause I really was running out of places that sold the capris with the adjustable waist, and I needed to get some for my daughter. I ordered the size 8 for my 8 year old, who is about 60 lbs. and about 3 ft. tall. Everyone said in the reviews about the extra material in the bottom area, and the waist not fitting well. But I found none of this true. I really liked the way they fit on her. it didn't have excessive material in the bottom area. In fact she has enough (not too much) room to grow into them a little more. And I did have to adjust the elastic on the waist a little bit more than her other pants but only by 1-2 more holes. So, over all I am very pleased! May 8, 2013
Uggghhhhh! My school selected these new uniform capris for this school year. My 11 year old daughter is a slim/average in build. She wears a 10 regular or 12 Slim. I ordered these in 10 regular because they do not come in slim. She tried them on and the whole family got a good laugh. The inseam was almost at the mid-thighs!!!! The waist was enormous, but the cut of the leg of the pant was rather slim. Very strange!!! Even with the button adjustable waist tightened, it would not solve the problem of the crotch of her pants falling to her thighs. BRING BACK LAST YEAR'S UNIFORM CROP PANT, PLEASE!!!!! August 5, 2012
Too big in the waist I was very disappointed with the new version of the crops they are way to big in the waist. The adjustable band only helped a little and with that the waist looked bunched up. July 27, 2012
Love these These were on sale and I ordered plus size for one child, slim for my other. I was pleased with the fabric, which looks a little dressier than the usual uniform pants I get from Lands End. Lengthwise, they hit just above the ankle. I might have liked them a little shorter for the warmer weather, but that's something I can always do on my own. I was pleasantly suprised with these crops. They look great. April 14, 2012
Quality good - color fades after a couple washings Products are required by CCHS school that my daughter attends. I hate at the AGE OF 15 to be buying her childrens clothing. However, you do NOT carry anything in a junior (ladies) size smaller than a 1, except in short length. She is above average in height, and the children's sizes fit, because of the adjustable waist, but the length is too short. If she goes to a junior 1, its too big in the waist but long enough if not hemmed. She wants boot cut and the smallest you carry is a 3. HELP!!! We hope that before summer ordering for the 2012-13 school year we'll see some resolution to the issues faced by many parents this year. March 17, 2012
While the fabric and color are fine, this redesigned version really disappoints! My daughter has worn the earlier version of these pants for years... these really disappoint. Plus, they don't have a belt loop to allow her to wear a belt. She just keeps complaining that they're too big (redesigned they added too much material in the wrong locations). October 25, 2011
Fit is way too big in the seat for a slender kid. My daughter did not like the feel of the fabric and the fit was way too big in the seat. September 5, 2011
The pants don't fit well. The rise in these pants and all of the uniform pants is too long for today's fashion. We will keep them only because we have no other options. Lands' End used to have a feminine fit pant that had a more modern rise. Those pants are no longer offered. What a shame. September 4, 2011
Returned these crops Fabric seems fine, but these crops didn't fit my tall 7 year old. We ordered size 8 iron knees plain front pants which fit great but the same size in these crops were too wide in the hips and rear. June 25, 2011
Odd Fit The past few times I have ordered pants for my daughter from Lands' End, they have fit her poorly. They always seem to have a very low rise. Not sure if the cut/sizing has been changed? Oh, well. I won't be ordering pants for her from LE anymore. Other than that, the pants did seem to be of good quality - if you have a long torso, they are probably fine. June 11, 2011
