These pants are perfect for a tiny frame and are great quality!
I bought these pants for my daughter for her summer job. She is extremely tiny and last year we spent weeks searching for good pants and shorts that would fit her and meet the dress code. This year, I happened upon Lands End on line and found these pants. They fit her perfectly and the quality of the material exceeded my expectations. The best part is that they were able to be custom hemmed. She finds them extremely comfortable and I am happy that she has a pair of pants that fits her slim legs and tiny waist. Yay! We were also lucky to find success with Girls' Slim Plain Front Blend Chino Shorts. The material for both items is much better than anything I found in the stores and the price was extremely competitive. Thank you Lands End!

Chic fit school pants
My daughter is an average size 6 years old and the size 6 fits her perfectly in the hip area and in length. As a point of reference, she is turning 7 at the end of Aug, but size 7 is too big so I got her size 6X for the fall semester.
These pants are durable even though color in the knee area has faded. They are softer than the iron knee style. I just like how they fit her and how they come out of the dryer perfect without having to iron them ever.

Nice fabric and fit
I measured my daughter and ordered her actual size, and they fit very nicely even after laundering. They also come out of the drier looking good. She likes them and so do I. It's hard to find clothes for this age group that don't look too old or too young.

Nice product. Wash well but order long because they do shrink a bit in length.
These pants look and fit nicely. However, they do shrink in length quite a bit. The first pair I ordered are a bit too short after a couple of trips through the dryer. Same with the uniform polo shirts.

nice quality & a good fit
My daughter is quite slim and long legged, so these pants where a great choice for her. I had previously bought the straight leg school pants which I was also happy with. I will happily buy these again when we need the next size up.

Great pants
I did order down a size(8) like the reviews suggested and they fit my daughter great, just a bit snug than her size 10 iron knees pants but still great. She likes how water just pours down and doesn't absorb into the fabric.

Great slim pant!
I originally ordered the size 10 slim pant as my daughter is at the high end of the size 8 size chart and I was concerned the 8 might be too short, but the 10 was way too large. I sent them back and ordered the size 8 slim. They fit her fine . . . and she still has room to grow. I ordered the unhemmed which allows for more growth. They were plenty long enough. My daughter is thrilled because they look like "girl's pants."

Fits a bit big.
The pant is good for those who don't like the "skinny" fit. The legs are wide enough that they don't fit tight.

a bit more generous in the waist and length than other brands-allowing my kids to wear them longer than expected.
