Unfortunately, you'll have to iron it
The quality of the fabric is wonderful and sturdy. Fits my 8 year old well.
My only complaint is that you'll have to iron it, even if you pull it out of the dryer.

...I think these uniform skirts are just so practical....
I do have about a dozen of this "uniform" skirts... I do not iron, so the pleats of this skirts have gotten more relaxed and so much softer... very comfortable and practical... would be 100% pleased if they had pockets.... but am not complaining much even.....
I have them in all the colors.... I have some for winter wear over boots, just great.... and shorter ones to wear in summer.....
I purchase them when marked down in price and that makes it even better!!!!!!

The skirt is a bit too long
It fit at the waist but is too long.

bring back the solid black in the same cut as the plaids!!!!!
Several years ago, I purchased a wonderful black pleated skirt for my daughter. Now that she has completely outgrown that skirt, I've tried both this skirt and the one labeled "long". Neither of them fits as well as the original - I believe that matches the cut that is now only available in plaid. This skirt is very wide and boxy, and too short. The waist adjusts only on one side, and not enough to help a narrow-waisted child. This skirt, in a 7, is 2" shorter than the size 5 of the other cut! I'm grateful that this is a performance skirt rather than a school uniform - my daughter is choosing to wear the skirt which is too small for her concert on Sunday rather than wearing either of the new skirts.

Needs an adjustable waist
Good, school dress code-acceptable length for my daughter who is 5'5", but needs the adjustable waist that the girls' sizes have. It is almost impossible to move the button enought to make any noticable difference in fit at the waist.

Fits very big
This skirt fits very large. I would order a size down. We ordered an 8 which is what she usually wears and my daughter could pull it on without undoing any of the buttons. Without the adjustable waist, this would not stay on her waist at all.

Nicer than average uniform skirt
This is nice skirt that washes well and holds up well. For a somewhat longer skirt, we order a larger size in slim.

Cute skirt- fits well.
My daughter is very skinny- size 10 slim and she's almost 12. This skirt in the slim size was perfect for her small frame. We were able to adjust the waistband slightly to help with the sizing and the length in the knee was perfect for her school uniform requirements. Washing has been easy but I always hang to dry "just because". The pleats are holding nicely as well as the color. Love the skirt- will buy another one next year if they don't change anything!

Need a knee length version for tall Tweens.
Nice look but need a longer version that goes to knees but not as long as the long option you have.
