Love it! Just the ticket for running around town!
I bought the adult-version for myself after seeing how well they wore and how nicely they looked-on! It's just a bit more lady-like for wearing to casual outings and around town! I bought mine in a larger size than I needed and had it altered to a perfect fit for me! --Just love the style for easing in and out of cars etc. Very well made-for the price! Thank you Lands' End!

Adults love it!
I don't know about the child sizes, but these skirts have been mind-bogglingly useful to me! Go with everything, great fit, professional. Snap 'em up while they're at this amazing price!

Good fabric quality but large fit
The fabric quality is good, but I ordered a larger size for my daughter based on the Land's End size chart. I should have ordered her normal size. She wears her skirt for school, and we have cinched it as far as we can. My daughter is quite tall, but this skirt still goes to her knees.

Not so perfect
I ordered 3 of these for my daughter in order to be able to "wash,wear, and alternate", and on all three, the pleat is not "ironed" or sewn right. Something is not right about it. Also, we've had them and washed them now for 2 months, and they are already fading. They are definately not as nice as other much less expensive skirts that I've bought elsewhere before, BUT, Unfortunately, this annoying things are what our school chose. In all good consiousness, I cannot recommend for people to spend their hard earned money on them,especially in todays economy. Buy your kids skirts elsewhere for a third of the price.

Great fit, fantastic quality, best skirt ever!
This skirt is part of my two girls' school uniform, 10 and 8 years old. I was just thinking about how durable and cute it is! It fits so much better than any other uniform skirt I've seen. They have been wearing these daily for over a year and they are still in tip-top shape! The adjustable waist is great -- plenty of room to grown into this skirt. I can't tell you how many times they've been worn and washed and they still look great -- In fact, they look even better broken in than new! Thanks Lands End, for a great product! Pricier than the cheap competition, but no comparison in fit, durability, and overall quality.

Runs Large
This skirt was way too big for my daughter. Ordering a size down was much better.

Too short
I wish that Lands End, and more clothing retailers for that matter, would offer a longer skirt option. My daughter's school requires the skirt to be to the knee. This was just not long enough. It was overall a cute skirt but had to go back as it was just too short. I had read other people's reviews and hoped that their children were just very tall but alas that was not the case.

does not fit well
We have always had a bit of trouble with sizing inconsistency with Land's End but this one took the cake. We ordered the same style of this skort in the knit version and it fits perfectly, but this version was absolutely huge in the same size! Had to send it back and get more of the knit version.
