Ridiculous sizing. My daughter was 4 when I ordered the size 6 little kids for last September. Too short, I switched her to pants. Today I received the size 7 big kids, (there's no size 7 little kids and there was no size 6 x) it s far too long. I don't understand the size 6 is like a mini skirt, and a size 7 is 3 inches below the knee. It's one size up! Its costing me another 18$ to have it taken up. Lands End, you need to update little kids sizes, maybe go out and measure some actual kids. I am disgusted. March 12, 2013
Quality is remarkable This skirt has sophisticated pleats, and still comes out of the washer and dryer looking great. It stands up to repeated washing and drying. The skirt is comfortable for my daughter and grows with her with the adjustable waistband. December 10, 2012

Nice Skort (Good Fit with Regular Size but Plus Size is HUGE) Our school has only just added this skort to our uniform pieces. My daughters each wore it once or twice before school let out, so I can't comment on how it will be long term. However, I can say that it is very comfortable for both girls who could not wear the old uniform skort that had shorts made of the same material as the skort itself and tended to cut them. The knit shorts allow them to sit and bend comfortably. They always wear knit shorts under their skirts and jumpers, so they are very happy with this. The little girl size has elastic in the sides and the size 6x fits my skinny 2nd grader perfectly. She has a rather round rear end and the knit shorts are perfect for her. My 3rd grader usually wears an 8+ in Lands End clothing and the 8+ uniform skirts are perfect on her. However, the 8+ in this skort was HUGE. Even with the elastic tabs drawn all the way in, it actually fell off of her! Lands End was great about taking it back. We ordered the regular size 10 to replace it and the fit is perfect! Cute but disappointing quality This is a cute skirt and my daughter has been wearing the same skirt in different sizes for 4 years as part of her uniform. I am shocked at how poor the quality is now compared to the skirts she has had before. It is a huge disappointment but because it is a required uniform, we don't have another choice. August 19, 2012
good for standard item The fit is good, has the adjustable elastic, length is fine, not too long or too short. Not sure yet about quality since my daughter has only worn it once. The material feels thin compared to other plaid skirt/skorts we've purchased elsewhere. Otherwise, no major complaints. August 18, 2012
