Poor Fit and extreme shrinkage
This top is the required uniform for my daughter's school. I find it very odd that Lands End offers plus sizing in this shirt but not slim sizing. So if your daughter is short and heavy you are in luck. If you have a tall thin daughter, in order to get ther right length you will have to sacrifice fit. My 10 year old daughter is 63' (5'2) and weighs 85 lbs. I ordered the size large. After washing it, it was the same size as the medium that I had from last year. So I called Lands End for help to get the right size. They suggested that I order the women's xsmall but that increases the size of the chest (which is not needed) and only gives one inch of length which I am not sure will be enough. If Lands End could manufacture slim sizing in this item it would be much appreciated. The XL child size would be the perfect length for my daughter as that size accomodates her height but it would be way too big everywhere else. She would have to weigh 30 lbs more to make that work for her. I did a comparison of Lands End Sizing with other manufactures and they clearly have their sizing skewed more to fit heavier kids (regular sizing) when compared to JCrew or Boden. Lands End must include slim sizing in school uniforms tops. I am going to suggest to our school administration to either go with a new vendor or include another one that parents can use.

Love, Love, Love this polo...the fit is great for girls, the color never fades and it's lightweight! Price is great too!
A truly great uniform polo. The fit is great, very slimming on the girls and the quality is first rate! I always hate when I have to replace polos because of fading and with these I never have to do that. The quality is so good that it never fades! With Land's End, I know I'm going to get quality!

better than white by a long shot
My daughter gets dirt on her all the time, and she is sensitive to anything bleached, so
her "white" uniform shirt was spotted with grey and brown marks. This shirt does a much
better job of hiding dirt than white. The plus sizing for "big girls" (not toddlers, not adults here),
is excellent. I highly recommend it!

This shirt is a good fit for a female figure.
This shirt is a good fit for the female figure. The colors of these shirts are good but do have a tendency to stain in the underarm area, especially the white and yellow colors. They also seemed to shrink when put in the dryer, even just one time. I have bought clothing from Lands End before without having these problems. I was disappointed with the staining and shrinkage of these shirts.

Great shirt
The shirt fits well and I love the feminine fit. It doesn't bunch up under my daughter's uniform jumper.
