School Uniform Pleat Front Iron KneeĀ® Stain & Wrinkle Resistant Chino Pants 3.1 5 28 28
Perfect These pants did their job. November 25, 2012
Comfortable, runs big Bought for my kindergarten son, age 5 (almost 6), who runs smaller. The size 5 is way large, so the size 4 fits well, with the waist cinched in a fair bit. The iron knee (but not wrinkle resistant) is a slimmer fit (almost too slim) and more true to size. I would order a size down for an average kid still. November 24, 2012
I love these pants, they are perfect!! My boy is tough and likes dirt, and they wash nicely. These pants fit perfectly, and wash up well. We have had the hardest time with other uniform places trying to get pants to fit-did not even try these on, ordered by mail. They are great!!!! November 2, 2012
Bad Knees I like the pants because they wash well but don't like how fast the knees wear out. My son's pants all rip just below the iron knee patch. April 4, 2013
The product was as advertised and arrived as scheduled. It suits the purpose for which it was ordered. Definitely would order again. The product was as advertised and arrived as scheduled. Hemming them was no problem. It suits the purpose for which it was ordered. Definitely would order again. January 15, 2013
What happened to these pants? I had purchased these pants last year and they fit great. Then I purchased a few pairs for this school year and they fit totally different. They are now about 1.5" short in the legs and tight around the waist. The pairs from last year still fit and look great. Lands End needs to look at their manufacturing sources to keep them more consistent. I would recommend them....but this manufactured batch were not good quality. November 3, 2012
Navy isn't navy and the iron knee lasted one month Boys will be boys, but these pants don't hold. The khaki ones did, but the "navy" ones don't? Fade and ripped. Luckily LANDS END will exchange them. Maybe they need to work on the dye. October 29, 2012
Great fit, stands up to rough treatment My little guy is tough on pants. Before we found these, his uniform pants had torn knees within a month or two. These pants wear well and still look sharp after several months. Worth paying a little extra for! September 30, 2012
Nice pants, but they are not navy blue. My son wears navy blue pants as part of his school uniform. I ordered these pants in size 12 along with the Lands End pleat front school uniform short pants for him. As I pulled them all from the plastic and laid them together it was immediately obvious that the color of the long pants was faded, almost a purplish color, and they would not be acceptable at his strict school. I had to take them back. My younger son has the same pants in size 7, they all came in the same shipment, and the color is the perfect, traditional classic navy that I was expecting. I'm not sure what happened to the big-kid version of these, but I'm really bummed because I'm not sure where I'll get his uniform pants this year now. I've always bought from Lands End, so this is a disappointment. August 27, 2012
Color not even close, lesser quality fabric Our school uses Land's End exclusively for uniforms, so we have no choice in where to shop for school pants. I have always been very happy with the quality and wear of the uniform items, so it hasn't been a concern for me. I am VERY unhappy with this order, however. These pants are not even close to the same "classic navy" as the other pants we've been ordering for years now. It is almost a dark gray. There's no way we could get away with these, they are that different in color. Also, my son noticed that the fabric was different and not as comfortable. I agree that the quality of the fabric is lower in these pants than what we are used to from Land's End. I am very upset about the color as it is so noticeably not right, but somehow was not caught at the factory. We are in desperate need of pants for my quickly growing son and had to wait a week and a half for these to arrive only to find out he will still not have pants that fit for at least another week, These should never have been described as "classic navy".
