These pants are true to size and lasts forever.
My kids have been wearing Lands End pants and shirts for the past 5 years and each year when we need new sizes we always buy these pants. They never wear out and my son is rough on his cloths. Great buy and if a problem ever did arise Lands End is the easiest place on earth to exchange or get a refund with. My kids have 9 more years in grade school, K-8, and we will continue to purchase their school uniforms through Lands End.

Still the best uniform pant out there
These by far wear better and have a better guarantee than any other pant out there. My youngest usually gets a good year out of the hand me downs and as they get older I bet he will get more and more as soon as they are done playin on their knees.

Awesome pants. Great quality and they last forever
I've bought these pants since my boys have been in school. (11 years) They are great quality, and wash very well. These are the only pants I buy for them to go to school.

Stylin' trousers for our littlest grandboy
We have ordered these chinos for our four grandsons for 4 years and the price, quality of fabric and sewing craft is very good. They go through many washes, serve as going to church, parties and grandpa adventures and are still well worth 'handing down". Thank you, Land's End Folk for offering these.

Fabric has changed and doesn't wear well!
I have sworn by LE uniforms since my kids started - even after my school opted to partner with a different provider, I continued to buy navy pants since nobody would know. My son is hard on his pants and these iron knees were great last year. I ordered 4 pairs less than 3 months ago and every one of them is done. The fabric seems seems thinner and less durable so it wears right through to the iron knee patch. They faded faster and I have to replace them before he's outgrown them. I am so disappointed in what LE has done with these pants. The concept was great - looks like someone tried to save on the manufacturing. PLEASE PLEASE CHANGE THEM BACK!!!

Horrible.
Let me start by saying that I buy my son's school uniforms from LE all the time. The quality is always excellent, so what happened when they made these pants ? I usually buy the cotton, khaki, reinforced knee pants, in the husky size. They fit perfectly, so I decided to get these black uniform pants. They were too tight, too short, and the fabric appeared to be thinner. I had to double check the size to make sure they sent the right one. If these pants are irregulars, they should indicate that in the description.

Disappointed in fabric
I purchased these chinos in the blended fabric this year because I needed a pleated front chino in a husky size, and this was the only fabric option offered in this style this year. I am very disappointed in the weight and feel of the fabric and in the wrinkled appearance of the pants after they come out of the dryer. I hope that the 100% cotton stain and wrinkle resistant chinos will be available in my son's size next school year, or I will be looking elsewhere for his school uniform pants.

durable and attractive pants
These pants were purchased for my son's school uniform. I got the same style as last time because they held up so well. The old pants are able to be passed down to the next boy - with knees intact!! He has worn this pair twice and they look great right out of the dryer - if you hang them right away you don't need to iron. I have a tall slender boy -thanks Lands' End for making a 20 (with adjustable waist) and hemming to a 32". You're a life saver!

best uni pants ever
we have tried others, but, you get what you pay for!! I love these and my son is comfortable in them! i wash all year and look good throughout!
