Old Fashioned and uncomfortable!! This is for Francis Parker school uniform for my 12 year old 7th grader.The boys hate these pants. We are happy to be w/ Land's End, but you need to update the style of your boy's and men's shorts. The 2 choices you have are too short and the leg too tapered. My son is very skinny/thin for his age, and we had to order 2 sizes too big to get them to barely fit for length. We have to cinch in the waist to accomodate the larger size. You need to update the style!!! Boys hate their knees and thighs to show. And the legs need to be wider and not so tapered!! They are very active and need more room. September 3, 2012

Purchase Husky size for Longer, looser pants. Purchased the 18 husky size for my slim 15yr old highschooler who wanted longer, looser shorts. They were perfect. They are not over sized at all. Adjustable waist is good if needed. Great Quality May 7, 2012
Comfortable with a little room I bought these because the uniform shorts (from school) seemed too short on his long legs. The inseam must be longer than the uniform shorts because they fit well and he appears to have an inch in length. I'm happy with this purchase. April 28, 2012

The pleated shorts fit true to size. Length was perfect. My son wore shorts from the big school uniform store and they were never true to size. They were tight and short or big and too long. I am so glad we finally ordered these shorts. They wash well , a quick iron, and ready to wear again. I am SO happy with them. And, more importantly, so is my son. October 1, 2011
