Great quality pants!
I bought these pants as uniform pants for my 3rd grader. We have bought other brands and these are by far the best fitting, and durable pants. Other pants were too tight in the tummy area and loose in the legs and long in length. The fabric is very nice and feels like great quality - not likely to get worn out, as others have. A little expensive, but worth it when on sale.

Pants are Comfy
My daughter wears these pants as part of her school uniform. Super comfy for her after I washed them the first time. My only complaint is that the material is thinning by one of the knees and I can see a hole forming eventually. She's only been wearing them for just over a month. She is an active girl but I was expecting the material to be more durable. I just bought another pair to add to the uniform rotation so I'm going to see what that does.

These pants shrunk so much ...
These pants shrunk so much lengthwise that after 3 or 4 washings they can no longer be worn by my daughter, who is of average height. The waistband did not seem to shrink. I gave a rating of 'fits small' not as purchased, but after a couple of washings. These trousers were to be part of her school uniform.

Comfortable, sturdy but not stiff
My daughter has these for school. She is very comfortable in them. The only trick to ordering is to remember to add about 1.5 inches if you have Lands' End hem them as they did shrink as noted in the product details.

Pants look great!
Pants look great after a whole school year of wash and wear. Fit my daughter who needs extra room in waist and legs.

These pants are so oversized!
After reading the other reviews, I decided to order a smaller size. I'm usually a size 4, so I ordered a size 2. The pants were huge on me, so I returned them. I have ordered a pair in the size 0 because I really like the look and feel of these pants. I just want a nice comfortable pair of khakis to wear to work. I'll post another review when they come in.

Far too baggy for slim girls
I could not order the size 12 for my daughter as the inseam was too short, even unhemmed. My daughter is very slender and has long legs. So I ordered the size 14 for the length and both my daughter and I were very disappointed and concerned that Lands' End did not offer a slim option in these pants. As these pants are part of her school uniform, she has no choice but to wear extremely baggy and unflattering pants to school. I have no complaint over the quality of the product, just the lack of options for fit. Children of all ages come in all shapes and sizes and many companies offer slim and husky options. If I had the option to exchange these pants for a better fit, I'd do it in a heartbeat! I am not happy to spend money on something that just doesn't fit or flatter. Please consider adding a slim fit option to these uniform pants and soon!

Great Fit, look good, pockets! and seem durable
These pants fit great and I usually avoid shopping for pants online. I think they will be very durable, they look good and my favorite part is they have real pockets that actually hold my cell phone when I am running around campus. I am very pleased with these pants. I think I measured my inseam a little short, so you may want to be careful about that piece, but it's not a big deal I am enjoying the pants 100%. So great that Lands End hemmed them up for me.

Shrunk in the length!
I purchased a 5S for the fall in the 60/40 in khaki and navy. By Christmastime I knew my dtg was ready for the next size as the floods were coming. She already had a black 6S in the 60/40 pair which fit a smidge long; so I decided to try the 98/2 chino in khaki in a 6x for the future length needs. However, after washing them carefully to avoid shrinkage by April the flood waters were approaching again, yet not so in the black 60/40 in 6S. I am very surprised some said how big they were on their slim girls. My dtg is very thin and the slim fits her great but the length was disappointing. She is just shy of 47 inches tall and wears her pants at a normal position just below her waist yet not below the pelvis crest (top). Maybe I should have realized there would be more difference btw the 60/40 and the 98/2 shrinkage and ordered a 7 instead. Just be advised when you order.
