ENORMOUS!
Bought the Size 4 Adult in this skirt. I use the skirts in costuming. I usually wear a 2 or 4 in Misses. 3, 5 or 7 in Juniors. But thiis skirt in a 4 is easily two sizes too large. Maybe even 3 sizes. It truly fits more like a 10 on . I have Land's End uniform skorts bought a year ago in Misses 6 and Junior 7. Those fit as a Size 6 and 7 should! However, they are both slightly too large for me now, so I went down a size this time. Little did I know that the "smaller" size would be so huge! Size 0 which would probably fit is out of stock. So is Size 2. This skirt doesn't come in Juniors size, so I will be sending it back. Though perhaps I could get away with a child's size 12 or 14, the sizing on this skirt runs that big. Those buying for themselves or a for girl needing a uniform skirt should consider ordering 2-3 sizes down!

Way too big!
The quality is good, but the sizing is inaccurate. I just placed my third order and crossing my fingers that my 12 year old can fit into a size 7. This is the first time I have experienced a sizing problem with Lands' End and the return shipping fees are adding up since I do not live near a Sears.

No inside band to tighten
I bought a size seven assuming that like all the other great skirts it would have the sinch band on the inside and it doesn't. So I had to retrn it because I have trouble finding skirts that are long enough and still fit my daughter in the waist. The other uniform skirts have them why not this one?

I was surprised at the lack of quality in this product.
I was surprised at the lack of quality in this product. I was expecting the high Lands End quality that I'm used to. It did not meet my expectations. It didn't fit my daughter even after I measured her. I had to move the buttons on a brand new skirt. The next size will be way too big on her. I'm forced to buy her uniforms here - sadly it feels very inexpensively made. I would not buy this again if I wasn't forced to.

Waist Way TOO Big
I agree with the other reviewers. The waist is very large. My daughter is 9 years old and the size 7 and 8 did not fit her and literally fell off of her waist. I am now exchanging for a 6x and hoping this will fit because she really likes the length of this skirt better than the A-Line version so she can run and feel less restricted. The skirt definitely needs elastic in the back or an adjustable waist in order to fit most waists. The A-Line version and the other knit skorts we have ordered have definitely been more true to size, probably because of the built-in elastic waists.

Good quality, nice style/length
Ordered this for my tween daughter (5'3", 100 lbs) in size 16. It fits a little big after one wash with room to grow (I may take it in just a 1/2" or less, and take it out later when she grows). Length is great - she has long legs so many skirts that fit her waist are too short in length, but this one is perfect without being matronly.

nice skirt, large in the waist
Overall this is a great uniform skirt, I would love to see it in a slim fit or with an adjustable waist. It is the perfect length, but slid right off my daughter's hips. I have pinned it for now and will get it altered as the is so nice otherwise. It washes well and has stayed crisp looking without ironing.

Skirts fits very big at waist.
My daughter wears a size 7 and this skirt in a size 7 is huge at the waist. The skirt fell right off of her. The skirt's material also had a strange odor. I returned it.

Cute skirt - but runs really big in the waist
I have tried a variety of skirts / skorts for my girls. Size 8 in the A line skirt and skort fit perfectly, but size 8 in this skirt fell right off! I will re-order in a 7 and hope it fits. I wish there was elastic in the back to help with the fit. There is no way to adjust this waist.
