School Uniform Pencil Fit Stain Resistant Stretch Chino Pants 3.4 5 23 23
Amazing! WAY Better Than "Iron Knee" These pants truly are great. They have a beautiful feminine fit. I wear a belt with it so it fits better. I love the skinny legs. They are so cute! This is great for older girls and teens. It's very stylish. I love the water repellent, too, although it will eventually wear off from washing. When I spill water, the pants do not darken. I understand it is stain resistant. Not sure how this is different from other pants but it works! You would think skinny pants would be uncomfortable, but in fact, these are the most comfortable Lands' End pants I've owned. I feel these pants are a lot better then then the Iron Knees. The Iron Knees were stiff and uncomfortable and looked very bad on me. The stretch pants were better, but still were not that cute and became baggy saggy in the back. These are perfect, the best. They look so much better. I also feel they are more age appropriate for my age, 7th grade. I could understand a third grader loving the iron knee, I would have loved it when I was younger, but it just is unstylish for older girls. December 19, 2012
Length My daughter is tall for her age and the size of the pants that she wears does not allow for a long enough inseam. This is the only issue that I have with these pants. December 8, 2012
Stylish, cute, slim leg but not too skinny These pants are great for school uniform because they are well made and look polished and neat. My 7th grader loves the pencil leg, it is flattering and trendy, but not too tight. They are also very comfortable. October 14, 2012
She loves them! Her first and I'm convinced there not going to be her last...she's absolutely in love with her Pencil Fit Stain Resistant Stretch Chino Pants; thank you Lands End. October 2, 2012
Two different pairs had defective adjustable-waist elastic The first pair of pants I bought for my daughter fit fine, but the adjustable waist elastic was stitched down in such a way that it would not adjust evenly on one side. I returned it and got a replacement pair. Since that time, I decided to buy my daughter a second pair, and I had the exact same problem with the elastic being stitched down so it didn't adjust properly. I would have given the pants a "5," had I not had this problem occur twice! September 1, 2012
Make longer versions for sizes 8, 10, etc. I wish the size 8 came in a 26 length - then they would be perfect. The seat area in the size 10 is too big. Even when the waist is tightened up. February 13, 2012
Not Skinny enough I need pants for a skinny girl. The legs of these pants are an improvement over the regular uniform pants, nice and slim. But the seat area is too baggy, and the waist is too big, even if we cinched it up all the way. My daughter would rather wear her regular Lands End uniform pants in a slim, even though they are a little baggie all over. I would love to see these pants with a smaller seat and waist, in a slim version. Please make some skinnier pants! February 6, 2012
Wish they offered this style in slim My daughter usually orders a slim but this option was not available in this style pants. She does love the style but has to cinch the waist in to the smallest size but it is still baggy. She is tall and the smaller sizes don't come in the correct length. December 18, 2011
another great LE product Fabric is stiff until washed, will require ironing. But, fit is wonderful and length selections are great! November 13, 2011
Perfect for skinny kids My daughters' school chose Lands End for their uniforms but they are both so skinny that most Land End pants look baggy and unflattering on them. Last year all they would wear was skirts. These pants fit great and are very flattering. They are the first cut my girls will wear to school. I would like LE to offer longer lengths, as I know that the waist will continue to fit this spring, but they will outgrow the longest inseam that was available. October 16, 2011
